中共喉舌《新华社》12月22号报导，中共政协副主席、统战部长令计划，涉嫌严重违纪，目前正接受组织调查。
令计划曾经是中共前党魁胡锦涛的秘书，长期担任有“大内总管”之称的中共中央办公厅主任，一度被认为是有望在中共十八大晋升政治局的热门人选之一，但是在他儿子令谷2012年3月死于轰动一时的“法拉利车祸事件”后，他的仕途突然逆转。
海外中文媒体早前报导说，令计划涉嫌卷入中共前政治局常委周永康、前重庆市委书记薄熙的政变阴谋。
最近两年，有关令计划的负面传闻不断传出，家人与亲信也接连出事，因此，对他的被调查，外界并不感到意外。
令计划落马 外媒析因
尽管如此，令计划落马的消息，还是立刻成为西方媒体报导的热点。
《美联社》报导说，令计划因为儿子死于耸动的法拉利车祸而失宠，那场车祸令他的仕途上升之路嘎然而止。
英国广播公司《BBC》中文网也报导说，令计划的儿子令谷车祸之后，令计划出动中共中央办公厅警卫局封锁现场，受到中共中央的批评。
《华尔街时报》则报导说，令计划出动中共中央办公厅警卫局封锁车祸现场的举动，事后受到中共内部对立派系的攻击。
报导引述美国中央情报局中国分析家詹森的话说，令计划儿子出了车祸，在政治上最得益的，是中共前国家主席江泽民。
詹森说：“江泽民当初力捧薄熙来，一度使他在十八大人事安排上，只有招架之力，但江似乎很快就逮到令计划事件作为翻本的筹码，而且还得理不饶人。”
《美国之音》也报导说，令计划被调查，显示中共内斗升级。报导引述评论员的话说，这不是一个单纯的“打虎事件”，而是一个政治事件，可能会有很多人牵连其中。
网路热议令计划 微博忙删除
在大陆网络上，令计划被查的消息，也是网友热烈讨论的焦点。
有人发帖对比周永康和令计划落马时官方通告的差异，也有人揭秘令氏家族的圈子背后的庞大帝国。
不过由于话题敏感，大量的微博留言都很快被删除，而令计划的名字也因此成为了自由微博热搜词第一。

Long-term Negative Rumor Ling Jihua is Under Investigation
On Dec. 22, Chinese Communist Party (CCP) mouthpiece
Xinhua News Agency reported Vice Chairman
of the National Chinese People’s Political Consultative Conference (CPPCC) and the head of the United Front Work Department of the Communist Party Central Committee
Ling Jihua are under investigation due to alleged serious violations.
Ling Jihua was former Communist Party leader Hu Jintao’s
secretary, served as the director of the General Office
and was considered a promising candidate for promotion
to the top leadership at the 18th National Congress.
However, his son Ling Gu’s death in a sensational Ferrari
car accident in March 2012 his career suddenly ended.
Overseas Chinese media reported before that Ling Jihua
was allegedly involved in the coup plot of former Committee
Political Standing Committee, Zhou Yongkang and former
Chongqing Party Secretary Bo Xilai.
The last two years, there have been ongoing negative rumors
surrounding Ling Jihua and the successive fall of his family
and cronies.
The outside world is not surprised by his investigation.
Foreign Media Analyzed Ling Jihua’s Downfall
Nevertheless, the sack of Ling Jihua’s still immediately
became a hot topic in Western media reports.
Associated Press reported that his son’s death in a Ferrari car
accident caused disgrace to Ling Jihua and ended his career.
British Broadcasting Corporation (BBC) Chinese network
also reported that Ling Jihua’s son Ling Gu
was criticized because he used the CCP Central Security
Bureau to cordon off the area.
Wall Street Journal reported the deployment of CCP
Central Security Bureau was attacked by rival factions
within the Communist Party.
The report quoted Johnson, a senior China analyst
at the Central Intelligence Agency, who said that Former
Chinese president Jiang Zemin is probably the most
immediate beneficiary from Ling Jihua’s son’s accident.
Johnson said: “Jiang Zemin’s early support for Bo Xilai
risked putting him on his back foot in the succession
sweepstakes.
But Jiang seems to have seized on the Ling affair to come
roaring back."
Voice of America also reported that Ling Jihua’s
investigation shows the CCP inner struggle’s upgrade.
The report quoted commentator’s saying that this is not
a mere tiger beating, but a political event with the possible
implication of many people.
