CCP Report Sparks Dispute: Cursing the CCP Equals Self-Abuse?
Recently, theoretical journal People’s Forum sponsored
by the People’s Daily newspaper published a survey report,
which summarizes many morbid mentalities
of current Chinese society.
Among them, the saying “cursing the Chinese Communist Party
(CCP) and hating the regime"
is classified as so-called “self-abuse mentality".
The report also says “the more benefits one gains
from the system, the more one yells at the CCP".
This has triggered a critical wave of public opinion.
Some netizens questioned: This is a party, which says
it serves the people but actually only makes efforts
for a small number of interest groups.
It does everything possible to plunder wealth,
and tries to compete with the interests of the people.
Should not such a party be criticized and cursed?
People’s Forum in September issued a survey report
on the Current Social Morbid Status.
The report says over 80%of interviewees believe that
the current society is in a sub-healthy condition.
The Questionnaire Survey Center of People’s Forum
also sorted out 13 kinds of so-called socially ill mentalities.
Among them, “lack of faith", “on-looker mentality"
and “social anxiety disorder" are top three.
In addition, “amusing ourselves to death",
“habitual suspicion" and “masochistic mentality"
are all key mentalities.
The report classifies the persons “cursing the CCP
and hating the regime" as so-called
“self-abuse mentality" groups.
This argument leads to a wave of criticism on the Internet.
Netizen ‘sincere’ questions on Weibo: a party,
which says it serves the people but actually makes effort
for a small number of interest groups, doing everything
possible to plunder wealth,
and trying to compete with the interests of the people.
It has one corrupt official embezzling a hundred billion,
countless high-and low-rank corrupt officials
living in extravagance while the people live in dire straits.
Should not such a party be cursed?
The former Shaanxi TV journalist Ma Xiaoming said
that the people’s attitude to the CCP has gone
from disappointment to despair.
In the marketplace, if there is a quarrel,
to curse the other as CCP is the most vented way.
Ma Xiaoming: “to curse is a helpless state of mind
when the ordinary people are really desperate
and have no other way to find a solution.
This is a very natural reflection on the social reality,
and I really do not know how this would be a morbid state
of mind and self-flagellation."
Ma Xiaoming said that if such a normal state of mind
is considered to be morbid, then the CCP
is in a state of being extremely ill.
Beijing activist Hu Jia: “Hating the CCP and rejecting
the regime have real reasons. This is resultant
from being hurt by the CCP tyranny,
and then we hate the CCP, this tyrannical,
unjust and unfair regime.
The CCP says it is a phenomenon of self-abuse,
but I felt too ironic.
I hating the CCP doesn’t mean
that I hate myself,
so what masochistic phenomenon do I have?"
Hu Jia believes that Chinese society is divided into 3 classes.
One is slave master class, which is the CCP elite;
second is minion class, which is a lackey class employed
by the CCP to suppress the people;
third is the slave class, which is subject to deprivation
of property, dignity, and even the life of groups by the CCP.
The last class accounts for 80 or 90% of Chinese society,
and these people hate the CCP and reject the regime.
Hu Jia: “The last class of course hates the CCP,
because China is not under the rule of law, but of man
and of the party governing society,
where a slave’s life or death is really at the discretion
of the slave master.
Especially under the system of maintaining stability,
when they covet your assets or feel
that you criticize the government,
then they can first use the propaganda machine
against you and demonize you.
Second, they can suppress you
with the political and legal system."
People’s Forum’s report says that the more benefits
one gains from the CCP regime,
the more they fiercely yell at the CCP.
Hu Jia: “I think this is the most crap saying.
The groups who gained the maximum benefits
from the CCP regime are the CCP elite and princelings
and their minions including the second red generation,
the second official generation,
and even their third and fourth generations.
They won a lion inside, are insufferably arrogant
and gained nearly astronomical wealth."
Hu Jia said that the CCP bigwigs within the CCP regime
are the biggest gainers. They often advocate and applaud
the CCP regime.
They often put those people
who curse the CCP or oppose the CCP tyranny
to the scaffold and guillotine.
The official media said they curse the CCP
in a most fierce state, this is a very absurd thing.
Hu pointed out that in China’s society
all that could be now called pathological social phenomena
are caused by the CCP regime.
In order to solve the problems of Chinese society,
the only way is to disintegrate the CCP
and to abandon the one-party dominant system.
In recent years, Chinese people have not just cursed the CCP.
On the Epoch Times website, the number openly quitting
the CCP groups currently amounts to more than 170 million.
