When Will The Regime Face Big Tiger Zhou Yongkang Case?
What is the current status of Zhou Yongkang’s case?
Some believe Chinese Premier Li Keqiang will give it a final
kick during the closing press conference of the Communist
annual parliament meetings.
It is also likely Zhou Yongkang’s case will be fully exposed.
Recently, some media further reported on Zhou Yongkang’s
brothers, Zhou Yuanxing and Zhou Yuanqing and rumors about
their secret paths to wealth.
It is a step suggestive of the final exposure of Zhou Yongkang,
former secretary of the Central Political and Law Commission.
Since media exposed Wuxi tycoon Zhou Bin’s secret this January,
his home in Xiqiantou village, Wuxi, has become a popular
tourist site.
Zhou Bin made the first appearance on the January Chinese
media coverage of the Sichuan Regal Wu Bing.
Zhou Bin’s mother-in-law, Zhan Minli, was a major shareholder
of an energy technology company established in Beijing in 2004.
After the reorganization of the company in February of 2010,
Zhou Bin took the chairman position and held an 80% stake in the
company.
In the business chains and connections of Zhou Bin, one sees
how the business empire was built on political influence and
the oil business.
Zhou Bin’s cousin, Zhou Feng, was already put into investigation
at the end of last year.
Also involved in the investigation were Zhou Feng’s mother
Zhou Lingying and father Zhou Yuanqing.
The Chinese Caijing magazine recently discussed the huge yet
obscure network of Zhou Feng’s family.
Based on the key figures of the family, they all pointed to former
Communist security tsar, Zhou Yongkang.
Xing Tianxin, commentator: “With the older generation’s heyday
of power, the younger generations, the princelings, get to occupy
the major sectors in modern China.
Zhou Feng’s case showed his privilege in the projects and land
sources through the huge network.
What did he rely on? The power, which served as a pass,
has allowed them to grab the most wealth."
According to insiders, a company owned by Zhou Lingying and
Zhou Feng was also the shareholder of the liquefied natural gas
projects in Sichuan.
Among the many connections, Zhou Feng’s influence was seen
to spread to Xinjiang, Inner Mongolia, Tianjin and, of course,
his hometown in Jiangsu.
Xing Tianxin: “Zhou Yongkang initiated his network prior to
2007 in the Chinese oil system.
His political development started in Sichuan when the persecution
of Falun Gong was launched.
He was promoted up the bloody ladder. Zhou Feng also took
the opportunity to develop his business network.
Zhou Yongkang became the second spokesperson of the Jiang
faction, in holding the supreme power of the Politics and Law
Commission."
Commentator Xing Tianxin indicates that Zhou Yongkang
became the powerful mover and shaker in the Chinese
Communist regime.
His power enabled him to manipulate the entire state resources
to become tools to personal wealth.
The economy of the country was emptied by Zhou’s family.
Media has exposed that Zhou Feng’s company was involved in
Sinopec’s 360 million yuan project.
According to Caijing’s report, the investigation against
Zhou Feng has continued.
Lan Su, commentator: “Zhou Yongkang is clearly sacked.
Zhou Yongkang’s case is semi-public now, from both the official
and the media.
Even though it’s not confirmed officially, the situation only
suggests that Beijing is struggling with differences among
factions."
Commentator Lan Su analyzes that numerous releases on Zhou
Yongkang’s corrupt background are simply chips to deal with
Zhou Yongkang’s case.
It also shows the Communist leadership has not yet reached a
consensus.
Xing Tianxin: “Through releases of these articles, in fact, they
are digging the roots: such as Zeng Qinghong, the coup plan by
Jiang Zemin and Zhou Yongkang, and the assassination.
The entire systems behind and people relevant in the systems
will be touched. They are hitting from the roots."
What about the crimes of conducting live organ harvesting on
Falun Gong practitioners? Will they prosecute Zhou Yongkang
and Jiang Zemin on those crimes?
Xing Tianxin explains that for the fact that the entire Communist
system, including the military and the armed police, is involved in
the live organ harvesting,
the CCP Central would not dare to touch on this crime.
