Two CCP Mouthpieces Argue Publicly On Exposing
the Poison Food Scare.
Many media reported that in China, formaldehyde,
the swill-cooked dirty oil substance,
along with some extremely toxic chemical products,
the likes of mercury and dichlorvos (DDVP),
are inside the regular food on people’s dining tables.
Recently, the “Beijing Daily” published an article saying
the poisonous food articles are made up by certain media.
The “Xinhua Daily Telegraph” later refuted
this point of view.
The two Chinese Communist Party’s (CCP) mouthpieces
have fought publicly, raising public concern.
On May 18, the “Beijing Daily” published an article titled
“The Social Role of the Media is to Sing the Main Theme”.
The article stated, unveiling such facts about food safety,
the conflicts between patient and hospital,
quality of construction and corrupt officials
all to be the poisoning of the Western mind.
It said with some media’s propaganda, all food in China
seems be poisonous,
but actually its an illusion,
purposely made up by individual media.
Internet writer Wu Jianguo, pointed out the truth of the matter,
is that its difficult to find safe food in China nowadays.
Yet the “Beijing Daily” still used its own excuses to hide
the serious food security crisis.
This shows CCP’s evil nature and total
and blatant disregard for human life.
Wu Jianguo: “A friend in China told me that even cooking
at home, the cooking oil they bought from the shops might well be the swill-cooked dirty oil.
The State Physical Culture and Sports Commission has a rule,
in avoiding the possibility of poisoning,
athletes are forbidden to eat food obtained from outside.
In the past 20 years, the CCP regime which was lead by
Jiang Zemin, has faced a bottom line moral decline within society.
Fake drugs and fake foods are to be found everywhere
and anywhere in China.”
The “Beijing Daily” article also asked the media to
sing the ‘main theme’ and persist in their news view.
Zhang Tianliang, current affair’s commentator:
”The ‘Beijing Daily’ has the so-called ‘main theme’ which is controlling the public’s opinion.
This is similar behavior of Mao Zedong and Jiang Zemin.
Mao Zedong said the CCP would collapse if the
newspapers reported negative news and views every day.”
Hong Jian, an independent commentator described
the “Beijing Daily” as, CCP’s military police in media.
Some netizens commented this article is disgusting.
Saying the disgusting ‘main theme’ is a total
disregard to the welfare of people’s lives.
Some more netizens made comment on how the “Beijing Daily”
praises itself for meritorious service to the public, contradictory
to the real truth. Fooling only itself!!
In the same day, “Xinhua Daily Telegraph”, which belongs
to “Xinhua News Agency” published a response article.
It said certain recent reporting was to blame
for the public panic over food safety.
But this theory really doesn’t hold water!
The article also said that the basis to solve issues is facing
the issues directly.
Only with more adequate reports,
the public’s awareness would become more comprehensive.
With greater accuracy of information,
hyped up ‘food scare’s’ would be no more.
The “Xinhua News Agency" and “Beijing Daily” each sang
to a different tune, again raising public concern.
Current affair’s commentator Zhang Tianliang pointed out,
people have the right to know the truth when it comes to issues
such as poison within their foods.
In fact, the CCP’s media are divided into different factions
inside and outside of China.
Zhang Tianliang: “It’s a display that shows clearly,
the media dance to different tunes.
All the newspapers in Beijing are controlled by Liu Qi,
who is an extreme leftist.
He is a main representative of Jiang Zemin’s faction.
He used the media, which he controlled, to support
Zhou Yongkang and ridicule Hu Jintao several times.
Sometimes, ‘Xinhua News Agency’ followed Wen Jiabao.
If Wen Jiabao’s talks were about political reform,
the ‘Xinhua News Agency’ would publish the speech.”
However, there are comments pointing out that
“Xinhua News Agency" is one of CCP’s mouthpieces who sing the ‘main theme’.
Although it said media should expose negative news,
it should remain within the CCP’s boundaries.
Hong Jian: ”The ‘Xinhua News Agency’ is also the mouthpiece
of CCP. Publishing a few articles does not prove it has changed.
Quite the reverse, the two official media have argued publicly
both singing to different tunes, confusing the public ever more.
The public should not be under any illusion,
especially where CCP’s media are concerned.”
Hong Jian finally ended up saying, if the CCP does not
disintegrate, China will never have the independent media nor freedom of expression or voice.
