CCP Mouthpieces at War with Kong Qingdong
CCP’s mouthpiece CCTV, recently reported that China Telecom
and China Unicom are being investigated for charge of monopoly.
This report received fierce criticism from People’s Post and
Telecommunication.
An “anti-monopoly” report became a platform for a public fight
between CCP’s two major mouthpiece media.
Xinhua News Agency also got into trouble for criticizing Kong
Qingdong, professor at Beijing University.
Kong charged Xinhua for false reporting and
requested an apology.
On Nov.11 an article in the Post and Telecommunication
posed 4 questions against CCTV: Are you clear about the basic concepts?
Have you clarified the basic facts? Do you understand the
global market? Do you still have professional spirits?
On Nov. 9, CCTV reported a monopoly investigation of
the two companies , National Development and Reform Commission.
Soon after, the two companies’ stocks plunged.
The next day this eye-catching “anti-monopoly" report turned
into a quarrel between the two media companies.
People’s Post refuted the CCTV report with specific charges,
blaming it for confusing and misleading the public.
People’s Post belongs to China’s Department of Industry and
Information Technology.
It is rare to see such a fierce public rebuttal against CCTV.
Liu Gang, Business School professor at Renmin University,
said that,”this fight is a continuation of the struggle between
China’s departments of broadcasting and telecommunications”.
Netizens called this event “a dogfight between interest groups.”
CCTV is infamous for fraudulence. Many netizens verified
they are against such an attack , and that they do not support Post,
since China Telecom and Unicom monopolize the market.
Xinhua Agency is reportedly involved in another battle.
Peking University professor Kong Qingdong recently cursed
Nanfang Daily reporters with three dirty sentences.
The public, including Xinhua Agency criticized Kong, urging
Beijing University to dismiss him.
Zhao Yuanming, former lecturer of law at China’s Public
Security University stated,
“the social environment provided soil for Kong.
CCP’s rule caused many Chinese people to lose their morality”.
Zhao Yuanming also claimed,
“CCP puts its own interests first.
Besides, they advocate atheism, denouncing any form of
karmic retribution.
People like Kong Qingdong will just curse whatever comes
to mind, with no concern for being a professor”.
Kong refuted the charges, saying Xinhua Agency violates order
from China’s General Administration of Press and Publication.
Kong accuses Xinhua for taking the lead in producing false news,
and thus must apologize to the people of China .
Like other CCP mouthpiece media, Xinhua Agency repeatedly
spreads false news, including Hu Jintao’s visit to Qingdao, China.
Netizens questioned, “If even the president’s photos are fake,
what could be true!?"
Yang Yinbo, signed singer of DragonSoft media company, said
“Official media should take the lead to respect the truth.
Yang Yinbo: “The media must also respect facts.
If the political system leads to institutionalized lying,
the system is the fundamental problem.
Whether inside or outside CCP’s institutions,
one should follow the law of truth to stand the trial of history.
People are becoming more and more enlightened, which is a disturbing fact to CCP officials”.
An article “Xinhua Agency Has no Credibility to Judge Kong”
questioned,
“When Xinhua News Agency, an influential medium
produces rumors in broad daylight, does it still qualify as a medium?”
NTDTV reporters Chang Chun, Wang Ziqi
