Yearning for CCP-Free Autumn Festival

主播:
Autumn Festival is a Chinese holiday. On the festival day,
family members gather to enjoy moon cakes

under the silvery moonlight, which is why Autumn Festival
is also called a festival of reunion.

However, not everybody in China can enjoy such happiness.

Minghui.org statistics show that 3447 Falun Gong
practitioners have been persecuted to death for their beliefs,

which means 3447 families are unable to reunite.
This kind of tragedy continues to take place in China.

Mid-Autumn is a time of full moon, so it is for family reunion.

The happy festival makes people long for their dear ones.
Autumn Festival is as important to Chinese
as the New Year’s Day, especially because it symbolizes
a time for family reunion.
Tian Lu, an overseas Chinese woman, yearns for her
husband, jailed in Dalian prison, China.
She is unable to celebrate this festive day
symbolic of family reunion.
Tian Lu: “In the past, my family of four or even more people
got together for Autumn Festival, enjoying the moon cakes
and the moonlight. Now, when I look at the full moon,
I cannot help but crying for being unable to reunite.”
Tian Lu hopes that she can have an Autumn Festival
in the future without the Chinese Communist Party (CCP).
Tian Lu’s husband Cong Rixu graduated from
Liaoning Technical University.
He used to be a student leader,
wining the Best Student Award several times.
After his graduation, he was once conferred
a certificate of Outstanding Volunteer.
He was the principal’s assistant
at Dalian Wendu Training School.
He was illegally arrested by the CCP authorities
for practicing Falun Gong on January 13, 2009.
His mother became sick from worry, falling seriously ill.
Soon after, she passed away.
Tian Lu says that many Chinese festivals emphasize
family reunion and enjoying time together as a family.
However, her family are unable to enjoy such a time.

Tian Lu: “In China, many families are broken, with father,
mother and children wrenched apart, or dead.
There are many such tragedies occurring in China.
To a person of peace, this is hard to comprehend at all.”
Cong Rixu’s family of four all practice Falun Gong.

Because of the CCP’s persecution, his family suffered
the separation of parents and children.
In 2009, Cong Rixu was sentenced to 3-year imprisonment.

Countless times, CCP authorities intimidated
and harassed his family members.
When his mother died, the Dalian prison even deprived
him of his right to attend his mother’s funeral.
Liang Bo, a teacher from the Minzu University of China
and a mother of 2, was supposed to lead a peaceful life,
but due to practicing Falun Gong, she was suspended from
her job. She has been constantly suppressed and detained.
On May 20, 2010, she was taken away by police
from the Haidian Public Security Bureau.
She has been transferred
to the No. 1 Detention Center in Beijing.
Liang Bo’s husband, Xue Mengchun, visited her once
in May 2011, but he is not permitted to see her anymore.
Xue Mengchun: “I was so sad at that time. We are fine,
but we did not hear anything about her for several months.
None of my family members have seen her, so we do not know
how she is doing there.
She used to have poor heath, now with the persecution
she receives inside the Detention Center,
(we are worried) she is unable to say or do anything.”

Tian Lu said that many families live more harmoniously
and many neighbors get along more cordially
because of their practicing Falun Gong.
However, the CCP dogmatically launched the persecution
of Falun Gong, pushing over 100 million Chinese nationals
to its opposite, and to an impasse.
