【新唐人2015年2月23日訊】第87屆奧斯卡頒獎典禮剛結束，電影「築夢大道」（Selma）以「榮耀」（Glory）一曲拿下最佳電影歌曲，得獎者Common、John Legend的得獎感言迅速成為媒體報導焦點，其中Common也提到了不久前的香港雨傘運動，把佔中和美國民權運動做了連結。
以下是本台老外看中國、老外看台灣團隊整理的Common中英文得獎感言：
First off, I’d like to thank God that lives in us all.
首先，我想感謝神與我們同在。
Recently, John and I got to go to Selma and perform “Glory” on the same bridge that Dr. King and the people of the civil rights movement marched on 50 years ago.
最近約翰和我到Selma演唱「榮耀」這首歌，就在50年前馬丁路德金博士和民權運動群眾遊行過的同一座橋上。
This bridge was once a landmark of a divided nation, but now is a symbol for change. The spirit of this bridge transcends race, gender, religion, sexual orientation, and social status.
這座橋曾是一個分裂國家的地標，但現在已經成為改革的象徵。這座橋的精神超越種族、性別、宗教、性取向及社會地位。
The spirit of this bridge connects the kid from the South side of Chicago, dreaming of a better life to those in France standing up for their freedom of expression to the people in Hong Kong protesting for democracy.
這座橋的精神，把（當年）夢想更好生活的南芝加哥小伙子，和（最近）法國那些為了言論自由挺身而出，以及香港抗議爭取民主的人們，給連結在一起。
This bridge was built on hope. Welded with compassion. And elevated by love for all human beings.
這座橋以希望建立，慈悲做連接，然後由全人類的愛所高高築起。
