【新唐人2012年5月21日訊】《洛杉磯時報》5月18號報導，對海外與中共持不同意見的中文媒體而言，薄熙來與他的妻子谷開來倒臺的醜聞，給了這些媒體足夠多的猛料。因為在中國大陸媒體上幾乎見不到這方面的報導。報導說，眾多的海外報紙、電視等中文媒體，與中共持不同意見的媒體有如參加競賽一般，來報導那些被中共審查制度封鎖掉的敏感話題。
《洛杉磯時報》的報導中說，《大紀元時報》以19種語言直言不諱的報導中共政府。《新唐人電視臺》的脫口秀節目，也報導了最近出逃的盲人異見人士陳光誠，和溫家寶在這次政治動盪中可能會辭職的傳聞。
《新唐人》副總裁周世雨在這個月的紐約總部會議上談道，CNN在「海灣戰爭」的報導中脫穎而出。《半島電視臺》得益於「阿拉伯之春」的報導。中國今年的政治變化會讓《新唐人》擠身為一家頂級的媒體，而「新唐人觀眾人數在最近幾個月至少增加了5倍，大約每天有50萬人在中國大陸收看。」
而《洛杉磯時報》表示，在中國境內的外國媒體記者們表示，海外異見人士們創辦的媒體現在是必須要看的。
一名大陸學者告訴《新唐人》，他在一些人家裏看到他們在收看《新唐人》電視。
大陸學者陸先生：「他們了解不到真相，了解不到社會報導的真相，比如說，我們某天某月，突然間又聽見哪個地方爆炸了，這樣的事情為甚麼出現，大家想通過一個更合理的途徑來了解，比如說《新唐人》、《大紀元》、《希望之聲》這些，大家都在看，至少我了解的是這樣。」
而「全球自由信息運動」創辦人張新宇表示，這個關鍵時刻大家都想知道真相，海外一些華文媒體因為利益關係得看中共臉色，因此不能指望。
「全球自由信息運動」創辦人張新宇：「國內出了這種事，國內(媒體)又摀住不報，國內所有的人都是為利益，對自己有好處的就報，不好處就不報，他們(五毛)本身也有想知道真相的欲望，所以他們也會去關注這些說真話的這類獨立媒體。」
不過一名住在武漢的秦姓觀眾表示，中共破壞網友上《新唐人》網站，每每一突破封鎖，連接上《新唐人》網站，隨即中毒。
武漢秦先生：「我有破網軟件，但是一上就中毒，特別是《石濤評述》，我最喜歡看的，都看不了。」
「中國社會民主黨」中央委員會主持人劉因全表示，中共的內鬥加劇，中共內部的醜聞出來越來越多，海外媒體—-不是中共控制的那些獨立媒體，發揮了非常重要的作用。如果中共繼續新聞封鎖的話，會進一步的刺激海外媒體的發展。
「中國社會民主黨」中央委員會主持人劉因全：「《新唐人》、《大紀元》這些媒體發揮的作用最大，像《希望之聲》、《看中國》、《人民報》，還有《博訊》這些媒體，也都發揮了非常重要的作用。因為西方媒體，她從中國的媒體裡，得不到真相，也會通過這些獨立媒體來發佈消息，這些獨立媒體就起到揭露中共的真相，發佈中共內部的爭議消息。」
海外著名民運人士唐柏橋在接受路透社記者採訪時表示，外媒記者告訴他，現在全世界主流媒體都在看《大紀元》。唐柏橋說，《大紀元》從遭到冷落，到躋身強大媒體之列，到最後竟成為主流媒體的焦點，真是奇蹟，不過，更應該說是神蹟。

Reporting Sensitive CCP Topics
On May 18, LA Times reported that Chinese overseas media
reporting different opinions from the Chinese Communist
Party got a lot of breaking news from the scandals
of Bo Xilai and his wife Gu Kailai.
This was due to being unable to see any reports on this topic
in Chinese state media.
The report said overseas Chinese media included
newspapers and TV stations.
When they hold different opinions, it is like state media
having competition when they report sensitive topics that are blocked by CCP censorship.
According to LA Times, The Epoch Times reported
Straightforward information on the CCP in 19 languages.
Talk show programs on NTD also reported on the recently
escaped Chinese blind dissident Chen Guangcheng,
as well as rumors Wen Jiabao may resign
due to this political event.
NTD Television Vice President Zhou Shiyu said at their last
meeting in New York that CNN stood out for their reporting on The Gulf War.
AL Jazeera benefited from reporting on the Arab Spring.
Political changes in China will make NTD a top media.
NTD audiences have increased 5 times in recent months.
500, 000 Mainland Chinese watch NTD everyday.
According to LA Times, overseas media reporters in China
say that they must watch media from overseas dissident’s.
Chinese mainland scholar Mr Lu. told NTD that he saw
some people watching NTD in their homes.
Mr. Lu: “They can’t know the truth here. For example,
there’s a blast somewhere, but why did it happen.
People want to know about it in appropriate ways,
such as NTD, The Epoch Times, Sound of Hope etc.
Everyone is watching as far as I know.”

Zhang Xinyu says, everyone wants to know the truth at this critical moment.
Some overseas Chinese media have to follow the CCP
voice for thei own interests. Thus we can’t trust them.
Zhang Xinyu: “When such a thing happens in China,
Chinese media don’t report on them for their own interest.
If there’s interest for the media, they’ll report.
If not they won’t. But Chinese people desire to know truth.
So they’ll pay attention to independent truthful media.”
A Wuhan audience Mr. Qin says that the CCP interrupts
netizens getting onto the NTD website.
Every time when they break the internet blockade
and get to the NTD website, they get a computer virus.
Mr. Qin: “I have software to break the internet blockade.
But I get a virus everytime I get onto the web.
My favorite program is China Click,
but I can’t watch it now.”
Liu Yinquan, the China Democratic Party Central Committee
host says that the CCP factional infighting has become more
and more critical, and more scandals are coming out.
CCP controlled overseas media play an important role.
If the CCP keeps blocking information, it will stimulate
those overseas media to develop further.
Liu Yinquan: “NTD and The Epoch Times are playing
important roles.
Also media like Sound of Hope, KanZhongGuo, Renminbao,
and Boxun etc., all play very important roles.
Since overseas medias can’t get truth from Chinese state
media, they’ll get information from these independent media.
Those independent media reveal the truth of the CCP,
and report the CCP’s inner arguments.”
Famous overseas activist Tang Baiqiao told a Reuters
reporter that he heard from an overseas reporter that all
mainstream media in the world are reading The Epoch Times.
Tang says that from being ignored to being a mainstream,
and then to being a focus among mainstream media.
The Epoch Times is amazing. It is a sacred miracle.
