【新唐人2015年03月14日讯】（新唐人记者任浩编译报导）“我要盘子!”一名网友在推特上发文，呼吁餐厅提供一个干净的桌布和简单的盘子，而不是奇奇怪怪的装食物的器皿，没想到他的这一呼吁迅速赢得超过1.39万推友的支持。
《每日电讯》3月12日报导，来自英国西约克郡的40岁男子麦克詹尼斯（Ross McGinnes）看到餐厅上餐牛排的时候竟然放在一块铁板上，而不是传统的盘子里，自觉难以忍受，于是在推特上设立账号“我要盘子”（We Want Plates，推特账号@WeWantPlates），不料，短短几天的时间，他的这个推特账户已经吸引了1.39万推友追随，而且不断有人贴上来现在新奇餐厅的把戏，呼吁制止。
麦克詹尼斯在推特上说，他的要求非常简单，只需要“简单的白盘子，一块整齐、干净的桌布，难道这个要求过分吗？”
如今新潮餐厅此起彼伏，有的甚至不惜用很恶心的装饰器皿上餐，引来很多希望正常用餐者的不满。
