柳小华被“寻衅滋事”在京开庭

22号,北京西城法院北区法院开庭审理武汉维权人士柳小华“寻衅滋事”一案,由于认为柳小华是受到构陷,全国各地在北京的访民有近百人到法院围观声援。

柳小华是武汉烟草公司被买断下岗职工。去年5月,她与郭洪伟去中纪委,举报信访局不作为,遭到警察暴力殴打,郭洪伟被打残。之后两人在去年7月被批捕。

目前郭洪伟被取保候审,原本准备作为证人出庭作证,但22号开庭时被北京西城检察院下了逮捕令,送入西城看守所关押了一天。

网路爆料人周禄宝案开庭

另一位知名网路报料人周禄宝涉嫌“敲诈勒索”案,22号在江苏昆山市人民法院开庭。

大陆“民生观察”网站报导,周禄宝曾爆料陕西“微笑局长”杨达才“名表门”、“小金库”等事件,被大陆媒体转载。还曾经实名爆料兰州市市长袁占亭,至少佩戴过5块价格昂贵的名牌手表。

在中共当局开始打击网路大V之后,周禄宝的微博消息开始被删除。他在前年7月被逮捕,名义是“涉嫌敲诈勒索”。

广西上千教师罢课讨薪

广西桂林市资源县的上千名教师,从20号开始连续两天罢课,打出“依法维权、还我血汗钱”等多条横幅,到县政府讨要被克扣的绩效工资。但是一直没有结果。

十亿投资或血本无归 上千投资人讨钱

沈阳“华玉黄金”贸易公司近日被人举报,涉嫌集资诈骗犯罪,一千多人被卷入,超10亿元可能血本无归。该公司已经被立案侦查。

自1月20号到23号已经有1300名投资人,到华玉黄金公司登记讨钱,登记金额超过7亿元。近期因非法集资、担保公司老板跑路、资金断裂等原因,导致大批大陆民众成为受害者,维权活动持续不断。

Liu Xiaohua Tried for “Causing Disturbances" in Beijing court

Beijing Xicheng District Court conducted a hearing on Wuhan
activist Liu Xiaohua charged with “causing disturbances"
on the 22nd.

Nearly 100 petitioners from around China paid their solidarity
to the court for believing that Liu’s charge was a frame up.

Liu Xiaohua was laid off by the Wuhan Tobacco Company.

Last May, she filed a complaint to the Central Commission
for Discipline Inspection with another petitioner, Guo Hongwei,
about the ineffective petition office.

They both were only treated with beating by the police.
Guo was crippled from the beating.
They were both arrested in July.

Guo, already released on bail, but was detained for a day
when he was prepared to testify as a witness on the 22nd.
Xicheng District Court had issued the arrest warrant.

Online reporter Zhou Lubao Case Hearing Conducted in Jiangsu

The well-known online reporter Zhou Lubao was tried,
on the 22nd for suspected “blackmail and extortion,"
in Kunshan Municipal People’s Court, Jiangsu Province.

According to Civil Rights & Livelihood Watch,
Zhou reported online about corrupt officials’ extravagant
life styles,

such as Shaanxi provincial safety inspection bureau director
Yang Dacai’s luxurious watches and stashes of cash,
as well as Lanzhou Mayor Yuan Zhanting’s expensive
brand-name watches.

Since the Communist authorities began to crack down
on significant Internet bloggers, Zhou Lubao’s Weibo posts
were removed.

He was arrested in July of 2013 for “suspicion of extortion."

Thousands of Guangxi Teachers Went on Strike

Thousands of teachers in Ziyuan County, Guangxi Province,
have conducted a two-day strike starting on Jan. 20.
Their banners read, “Lawfully defending rights, Give me back
my hard-earned money."
The county government has withheld their pay
without giving it back.
The protest has been going on with no result.

Billions from Thousands of Investors down the Drain

Shenyang’s Huayu Gold trading company was recently
reported for fraud.
More than 1,000 investors are involved with a total of
over one billion yuan that could be down the drain.
The company has been filed for investigation.

Since January 20, as many as 1,300 investors have visited the
company and registered the amount of money to be retrieved.
The total amount has exceeded 700 million yuan up to the 23rd.

Recently, mass protests have broken out due to illegal fund-raising,
fleeing of the guarantee company owners,
and breaking of financial chains,
which have victimized a large number of Chinese.
