化名“走向未来”的民众说：“当初也仅是出于随大流和物质生活的需要才加入，现在则是为了精神的自由，并遵循这些年的现实观察和独立思考，尤其是为身边这些所谓的“同志们”的作派而不耻，我表达退出的意愿。只是出于安全的考虑，暂时不敢以真名退出。我要努力做一个真实、善良和具有忍耐精神的人。包括小时候加入过的队、团，及现在的党，全退。请上天明鉴！”

I quit them all, including the Young Pioneers, the Communist
