老板携百人工资跑路 工人讨薪被抓
10月1号,江苏省无锡市惠山区堰桥镇,湘乐贸易有限公司老板,拖欠百余工人工资数月后,卷款跑路,工人们到惠山区政府求帮忙讨薪,遭警察镇压,多人被打伤,2人被抓捕。
云南大理上百商贩抗议城管打人
10月1日,云南省大理市大理古城,上百摊贩游行、静坐,抗议城管多次暴力伤人。9月30日晚,2名摊贩遭城管持械殴打并受伤入院,数百商贩以及游客一度到古城月溪村派出所抗议,但无果。
湖南邵东警察 抢尸殴打并抓捕家属
9月29号,湖南邵东一辆油罐车碾死一名13岁女孩后,司机逃离肇事现场进入交警大队,家属报警无果。30号,家属到事发地点拉横幅,并用棺材堵路抗议,遭上百名警察镇压,多名家属被殴打、抓捕,女孩尸体被抢走。
广东云浮400村民堵路 抗污染遭抓捕
广东省云浮市新兴县水台镇,一家陶瓷厂长期污染环境,造成农作物大量死亡、减产,9月30号,约400名村民到陶瓷厂前堵路抗议,要求赔偿损失。示威持续7小时后,警察前来清场,数名村民被殴打、抓捕。
Workers Protesting About Their Stolen Wages Are Arrested
On Oct. 1, The boss of Xiang Le Trading Co. Huishan District,
Jiangsu Province, left with the workers’ back wages.
The workers tried to get help from Huishan government but
were repressed by police.
This resulted in many injured and 2 arrests.
Hundreds of Vendors Protest at Assaults from
Urban Management in Yunnan Dali City
On Oct.1, hundreds of vendors marched to a sit-in against the
urban management’s violent assaults on vendors in Yunnan
Province, Dali City.
On the evening of Sept. 30, two vendors were injured by
armed urban management staff and had to be hospitalized.
Hundreds of vendors and visitors went to the police office to
protest but were not listened to.
Hunan Shaodong Police Remove Victim’s Body,
The Family Protested
On Sept. 29, a driver fled into the traffic police brigade after
killing a 13 year old girl with a tanker in Hunan Shaodong.
The family members reported it but were ignored.
On Sept. 30, the family members protested at the incident
location with banners and blocked the road.
They were suppressed by hundreds of police, resulting in
many beaten and arrested.
The girl’s body was removed by police.
400 Villagers Arrested For Protesting at
Pollution By Blocking The Road
The long-term pollution from a ceramics factory in Xinxing
County, Yunfu City, Guangdong Province resulted in many
crops failing to grow and reduction in produce.
On Sept. 30, 400 villagers protested at the ceramics factory
by blocking the road to request compensation.
The police came to clear up after 7 hours of demonstrations,
and many villagers were beaten and arrested.
