Wang Qishan: You Will Slowly Understand
Secretary Wang Qishan,of the Central Commission
for Discipline Inspection, talked about anti-graft in a
recent meeting with the Standing Committee of the CPPCC
(the Political Consultative Conference).
When asked if there’ll be a bigger tiger than Zhou Yongkang,
the former secretary of Politics and Law Committee,
Wang Qishan smiled and said, “You will slowly understand.”
Mainland’s reports on this news were quickly deleted.
So, are there bigger tigers? From the downfall of Bo Xilai
to Zhou Yongkang, mainlanders seem to “understand" better.
State media such as Xinhua, Legal Daily, and so on, reported
on the 27th, Wang Qishan delivered an impromptu speech
at the 7th meeting of CPPCC Standing Committee and
answered questions from the Committee members.
For the question of any bigger tiger besides Zhou Yongkang,
Wang Qishan said nothing but smiled.
But when he was asked if that means “You understand",
he said with a smile, “You will slowly understand."
He was also asked if the corrupt deeds before the 18th National
Congress will be neglected.
Wang said, “No" and it must be treated the same
with a thorough investigation.
The report triggered enthusiastic forward and discussion
but then was quickly deleted.
The ifeng.com published an opposite report.
Fudan University Professor Ge Jianxiong, also on the CPPCC
Standing Committee, and attended the meeting:
Wang Qishan did not say anything about “The bigger tiger…
you will slowly understand.”
However, from Bo Xilai to Zhou Yongkang,
mainlanders increasingly “understand".
Chen Minghui, a media professional in Shanghai, indicates
what Wang Qishan said actually echoed what Xi Jinping had
said when Zhou Yongkang was sacked:
“Zhou Yongkang’s fall does not bring an end to anti-corruption."
Chen Minghui: “Their words were published by Xinhua News,
and other major mainstream Websites.
But they lasted for just a few hours.
Even the state level leader’s talk can be deleted? Why?
It is very obvious. Only people at the same state level
are qualified to delete it."
Chen Minghui analyzes, it is clearly done by the propaganda
system controlled by Liu Yunshan.
The struggle between the Xi and Li leadership
and the Jiang faction has hit the battleground.
Former History Professor Li Yuanhua analyzes,
that Xi and Li as the highest Communist totalitarian leaders,
their words can be deleted or tampered with,
there are two explanations.
Li Yuanhua: “One, the CCP deliberately released some talks
to find the reactions.
It is soon deleted just to prepare for its next move.
But, the other most plausible explanation is Liu Yunshan.
Liu Yunshan, as the mouth of publicity, has never obeyed
the command of Xi Jinping.
Rather, he has been constrained with Xi Jinping,
or opposing him."
Overseas aboluowang.com reported earlier in August,
Japan’s NHK anticipated Liu Yunshan as the next to be sacked.
Similar rumors were also heard on the Internet recently.
But, the propaganda agency under Liu Yunshan continues
to show its “disobedient" state.
For example, the outbreak of large protests in Hong Kong
over the white paper on One Country Two Systems was said
to be led by collaboration between Liu Yunshan and
Zhang Dejiang.
Zhang Dejiang, a Jiang faction Standing Committee member,
also heads the Hong Kong and Macao Work Coordination Group.
In early August, Xi Jinping’s anti-graft talk of “Care not of
personal life and death, praise or blame" was also fully removed.
Li Yuanhua: “Liu Yunshan has dominated the propaganda
and opposed Xi Jinping.
He is the most hardworking spokesperson for Jiang faction
in seven of the Standing Committees.
Being a big corrupt official, he has been opposing or resisting,
and even constraining the anti-corruption movement of Xi Jinping.
Xi Jinping is determined to secure his absolute power in the
Communist totalitarian regime.
He must defeat those who do not obey."
Li Yuanhua indicates, Liu Yunshan, Zeng Qinghong and
Jiang Zemin are mostly likely the big tigers Xi and Li
will defeat in the name of anti-corruption.
Senior commentator Lin Baohua commented in Hong Kong’s
Radio Free Asia, the Red Two (offspring of the CCP founding
fathers) have basically reached a consensus to support
Xi Jinping at the expense of Jiang Zemin.
