Petitioners Flock To The CCP Discipline Inspection Commission Stationed In Shanghai
The following day after the investigation announcement
of former head of the Political and Law Committee
of the Chinese Communist Party (CCP) Central Commission,
Zhou Yongkang,
it was revealed that the Inspection Team of the Discipline
and Inspection Commission of the CCP Central Committee
is stationed in Shanghai, which is recognized as an old lair
of the former CCP leader Jiang Zemin.
Recently, Shanghai petitioners flocked
to the inspection team office.
It is said that Inspection Team members
have more patience than the past.
Some petitioners believe that the inspection team’s focus
is on grasp the ‘big tiger’ Jiang Zemin rather than solving
the people’s livelihood issues.
Reporter:
People’s Daily Network website reported that on the night
of Aug. 7, two inspection team office buildings located
at No. 888 Jiangsu Road, Changning District CCP College
campus have been partitioned into two areas by iron fences.
One area is an inspection team work zone and another is for
petitioners to rest, fill forms and write materials.
Reportedly, appealers first need to obtain an appeal
registration form at the receptionist desk, and after
completing the form they are required to have a confidential
conversation with two inspection team members.
Shanghai petitioner Zhou Xuezhen arrived at the Inspection
Team office on Aug. 5.
She said she felt she was not treated like she was in the past.
She was driven away after the materials were handed over,
and was not allowed to have a conversation with the staff.
Everything was rushed.
Shanghai petitioners Zhou Xuezhen: “I was asked
who I want to indict. I said Zhou Yongkang.
Then I was asked why.
I replied that the hooligans at the local checkpoint
were dispatched by Zhou Yongkang.
They destroyed my family and some family members
even died.
Then I was asked if I had evidence, who replied, who handled
it in the past and that all of this needed to be written down.
I replied that Shanghai Public Security Bureau
is responsible for handling.
Then I was asked to write it down."
Yu Mei Sun is a former secretary of the CCP’s State Council.
He also petitioned for twenty years, but in vain.
July 30 is the day the inspection team arrived in Shanghai,
and that day he called the inspection teams’ hotlines.
Yu Meisun: “I talked to him for at least 15 minutes.
He listen to me with patience and asked me questions.
Later I ask him to give me his name, but he did not provide it.
He said I could mail evidence and materials to them.
He said what I talked about has been recorded."
Shanghai petitioner Chen Jianfang intended to submit
materials to the inspection team a few days later.
However, she believes that the inspection team
is attempting to catch the big tiger Jiang Zemin
rather than solve the issues of people’s livelihood.
Shanghai petitioner Chen Jianfang: “Didn’t Xi Jinping
discuss catching tigers?
If ‘tiger’ Jiang Zemin is not caught, the so-called ‘catching
tigers’ advocated by Xi Jinping has not really been achieved.
He has to wipe out the giant tiger Jiang Zemin,
because he committed too many wrongdoings.
He forced the organ harvesting from Falun Gong
practitioners, including persecuting the civil rights
activists and confining them in jail and labor camps.
These are often seen.
Shanghai has always been recognized as Jiang Zemin’s “lair."
Some petitioners also said that if the inspection team wants
to collect the human rights abuse cases committed
by Jiang Zemin, they can be found everywhere.
For example, Shanghai petitioners Xi Rendi was arrested
because she was identified as a Falun Gong practitioner
by the police when she once led a stranger to photocopy
the “Nine Commentaries on the Communist Party."
Shanghai petitioner Xi Rendi: “When I took my daughter
walking in the street they came to arrest me.
They also asked me to provide identification.
Then they told the surrounding people that
I am a Falun Gong practitioner.
The surrounding witnesses were scared and retreated.
My daughter and I were both detained
at the police station.
My daughter was separated from me.
That time my daughter was only 15 years old."
Police at the police station not only threatened Xi Rendi
to disclose the person who photocopied
the “Nine Commentaries on the Communist Party,"
but also beat her 15-year-old daughter.
Xi Rendi: “Because they did not know who he is,
and then took me the police station for confining
for one day and one night.
I replied what you needed me to disclose.
I was told that I just needed to say I recognized him.
I replied, ‘why do I need to say I recognize him?’
I actually did not know him.
Then my daughter and I were both confined
and we were separated.
My daughter was also beaten.
She was educated to expose her mother
as having committed a crime.
If she did not follow, then she would be shot to death."
In addition to human rights abuses, the economic corruption
signs of Jiang Zemin were left in Shanghai when Jiang Zemin
climbed up on the ladder in Shanghai.
Shanghai Procuratorate issued a notice on the night
of Aug. 11, and decided to arrest former chairman
Wang Zongnan of Shanghai Bright Food Group.
The group is formerly known as Shanghai Yimin Food
1st Factory.
Jiang Zemin was the first deputy director of Yimin Food
Factory in the 1950s, afterwards, Jiang Zemin
has maintained a close personal relationship
with the group.
One of Xi Jinping’s targets is Jiang Zemin’s “Shanghai Gang."
Some analysts pointed out that diverting the anti-corruption
movement to Shanghai is to gradually clean out
Jiang’s influence of power.
