中国第二季度的经济增长达到7.5%，高于此前观察家们所预估的7.4%，引起外界关注。7月17号，《法国国际广播电台》摘录法国主要媒体的相关分析和评论报导说，北京是以负债来维持经济增长。
中共政协常委办移民 面谈撒谎遭拒
中共一名政协常委最近被媒体报导，在申请加拿大投资移民时，因撒谎隐瞒政协委员身份，遭到移民官拒绝。
据《明报》（加东网）报导，中共政协常委崔海林（译音）2011年1月申请加拿大投资移民，去年1月21号在香港移民部办公室接受移民官的面谈。面谈时，移民官问他是否曾在政府部门任职，以及是否曾经加入任何组织等。
崔海林声称未曾加入任何组织，而当移民官拿出中共官方网站资料，显示他是中共政协常务委员时，崔海林才不得不承认。
移民官认为，崔海林未诚实答复问题，且答复前后矛盾，当天做出拒签决定。
崔海林被拒签后，再向加拿大联邦法院提出司法复核。加拿大联邦法院7月7号作出判决，驳回他的申请。
深圳交警殴打车主 引千人围堵砸车
16号傍晚，深圳市交警暴力执法，打伤一名违规的电动车司机，引发近二千市民围堵抗议，当局派出上千警力驱离人群。
据现场目击者向本台记者描述，现场呐喊声、警笛声一直不断，这期间，一辆警车大巴和公车被砸。而警察见人就打，20多人被抓。
事件持续约7小时，到第二天凌晨3点左右才平息。

French media: Beijing Sustains Economic Growth With Debts
China’s economic growth has reached 7.5% in the second
quarter, higher than what was previously estimated, at 7.4%.
On July 17, Radio France Internationale excerpts correlation
analysis and commentary from major French media claim that
Beijing relies on debt to sustain economic growth.
A comprehensive analysis from various media, RFI reported
that:
China’s economic growth in the second quarter was higher
than expected, mainly due to a series of economic
stimulus measures.
Although the CCP officially avoids the term, “stimulate,"
these measures displayed Beijing’s concern over the economic
growth drop to 7.4% for the first quarter.
While keeping the high economic growth indicator continues to be
the primary task,
Beijing is still willing to continue with the country’s public debt
burden increase and to postpone the looming economic reforms.
CPPCC Standing Committee Lied in Immigration Interview
A CPPCC (National Committee of the Chinese People’s
Political Consultative Conference) Standing Committee,
was reportedly declined Canadian investment immigration,
due to his concealment of his real identity as a CPPCC
member.
Ming Pao reported that the CPPCC Standing Committee
Cui Hailin (transliteration) applied for Canadian investment
immigration in January 2011.
In his interview with the Hong Kong Immigration Department
office last January 21, he was asked if he was ever employed
at a government department or joined any organization.
Cui Hailin claimed that he had never joined any organization.
But when the immigration official brought up the website
information from the Communist regime showing his title
as a member of the CPPCC Standing Committee,
Cui was compelled to admit.
The immigration officer rejected the application believing that
Cui Hailin had not honestly answered questions and his reply
was inconsistent.
After the rejection, Cui Hailin filed a judicial review
to the Federal Court of Canada.
The Federal Court of Canada rejected his application on July 7.
Mass Protest Against Shenzhen Police Beating
On the evening of the 16th, Shenzhen traffic police conducted
violent law enforcement and injured an automobile driver.
Nearly 2,000 people protested. Thousands of police were
dispatched to evict the crowd.
Eyewitness told our reporter, shouts and sirens have been
nonstop.
A police shuttle and a bus were smashed.
The police hit whoever was in the way and arrested more than
20 people.
The protest lasted for about 7 hours until 3:00 in the morning.
