美中关于网络黑客的争论再起争端，美国《纽约时报》7月10号报导说，美国政府高级官员表示，中共黑客今年三月入侵了美国政府人事管理局的电脑系统，目标是正在申请绝密安全的成千上万联邦雇员的个人信息。
这名官员说，联邦当局在察觉黑客入侵后，虽然阻止了他们，但目前不清楚黑客深入该机构系统的程度。
消息公布之时，美国国务卿克里正在北京参加中美战略与经济对话，而网络安全正是议题之一。
中共外交部发言人按照中共一贯的做法，对有关指控矢口否认。
社科院拟扩招马基生 被讥“五毛院”
在中国价值多元化和意识形态对立的情况下，中共最近再次高调宣传要加强所谓“马克思主义”理论研究。
据中共喉舌媒体《人民日报》7月10号报导，中共“社科院”决定从今年起每年招收百名所谓“马克思主义理论”专业博士生，声称是要巩固社科院作为所谓“马克思主义阵地”的地位。
消息发出后，立刻遭到一些大陆网友的嘲讽，有网友说，社科院应该改名为“五毛院”。
中国炫富女郭美美 被警方抓捕
三年前因在网上炫富，而一夜成名的中国女子郭美美，据报已经被北京警方抓获。北京警方官方微博账号7月10号证实了这个消息。
北京警方公布的消息说，7月9号，警方抓获了8名在世界杯期间组织赌球的嫌疑人，郭美美是其中之一。
警方表示，郭美美对参与赌博的事实供认不讳，但是没有透露进一步详情，包括赌博金额。

New York Times: Chinese Hackers Pursue Key Data
on U.S. Workers
The hacker dispute between the US and China has resurfaced.
On July 10, the New York Times reported that Chinese hackers
were able to break into computer networks of the US government.
They accessed the agency that stores personal information of all
federal employees, confirmed senior American officials.
Their interest appears to have been employees who have applied
for top-secret security clearances.
The official said federal authorities
detected and blocked them.
It has not been confirmed how far the hackers
penetrated into the agency’s systems.
Network security is a hot topic for Secretary of State John Kerry
and a senior US delegation, who are visiting Beijing for the annual
Strategic and Economic Dialogue.
As usual a Chinese Foreign Ministry spokesman denied the
accusations.
China Increases the Numbers of Marxism Theory Students
The Chinese Communist Party (CCP) publicized strengthening
Marxism theory study plans for diversity value in China.
On July 10, according to CCP media People’s Daily, the
Chinese Academy of Social Sciences (CASS) decided to
recruit a hundred Marxism theory PHD students.
They claimed this will consolidate the CASS’s position as
promoting the Marxism theory position.
Lots of mainland netizens mocked after the information
was released.
Some netizen said the CASS should be renamed as the
Fifty Cents department.
Ostentatious Chinese Lady Guo Meimei Arrested
Chinese lady Guo Meimei, who became famous overnight
for showing off her wealth, was arrested by Beijing police.
On July 10, the Beijing police official microblog
confirmed this news.
The day before Beijing police announced, they had arrested
eight suspects who were organizing World Cup gambling;
Guo Meimei was one of them.
Police said Guo Meimei confessed to being involving in
the gambling.
But no further details including the gambling amount
were released.
