【新唐人2013年12月23日讯】12月20号，中共纪委监察部网站发布，中共“610办公室”主任兼公安部副部长李东生，涉嫌严重违纪违法，正在接受调查。李东生是前中共中央政治局常委周永康在政法系统的亲信。而最近，海外媒体盛传周永康已经被捕。外界认为，从中纪委没有回避李东生迫害法轮功的头衔来看，应该是要把对周永康的处置摆上台面了，真正的“大老虎”——江泽民和罗干也呼之即出。
在《新华社》的通告中，李东生的第一头衔是“中央防范和处理邪教问题领导小组副组长、办公室主任”，其次才是“公安部党委副书记、副部长”。
“中央防范和处理邪教问题领导小组”下设办公机构“610办公室”。先后担任小组组长的有﹕李岚清、罗干、周永康。而“610办公室”历任主任有﹕王茂林、刘京。李东生被调查前，兼任“610办公室”主任。
时政评论家横河：“这是针对周永康去的。因为李东生的整个政治生涯，跟周永康的整个政治生涯，后台，发家，都是跟迫害法轮功在一起的。外界知道的只是公安部副部长，但是现在公布出他身份来，是和迫害法轮功直接连在一起。再一个就是在处理周永康宣布之前，先宣布了一些外围的。”
当年面临退休的前党魁江泽民，把中共的7常委制变成9常委，将当时的中央政法委书记罗干塞进了政治局常委，还将已经培养好的，搞石油出身的周永康，从四川省委书记，转行升为公安部部长。江泽民又隔代指定周永康接任罗干的中央政法委书记位置。
李东生担任《央视》副台长时，涉嫌“进贡”女主播贾晓烨给周永康，周永康被怀疑设计车祸，谋杀前妻，另娶贾晓烨。
2000年，李东生出任广电总局副局长。因为宣传2001年的“天安门自焚”伪案有功，2002年5月，被升任宣传部副部长。
2009年10月，从未有过政法工作经历的李东生，突然调任公安部副部长。2011年2月起，李东生一直担任公安部副部长和党委副书记，直到最近被调查。
横河：“他的腐败已经长期存在了，是在《央视》当副台长的时候就开始了。为什么十多年一直没有人能够动他？就是因为，他在迫害法轮功的当中，起了一个非常重要的作用。在这种情况下，他在江泽民系统里面是属于‘政治正确’的，因此不管怎么腐败，也不会动他。”
旅美时政专栏作家章天亮认为，李东生接受调查，就表示中共政法系统的震荡远未结束。周永康已经落网，等待宣布，李东生的落马，很可能也代表着罗干遇到了大麻烦。
从1997年起，时任中共中央政法委书记的罗干，利用手中大权命令公安系统在全国秘密调查，企图寻机取缔法轮功。在找不到罪证的情况下，1999年4月，罗干的亲戚何祚庥，在“天津教育学院”的杂志发表攻击法轮功的文章，并动用防暴警察殴打法轮功学员，抓捕45人，之后，引发震惊中外的“4.25法轮功中南海上访事件”。
在李东生落马后，《百度》解禁了李东生、刘京和罗干参与迫害法轮功的部分信息。
大陆民主人士陈树庆：“我希望它是暗示什么，比如对法轮功的真相不进行监视。过去中共，尤其‘610’对法轮功的污蔑，对法轮功学员的陷害是很残酷的，是中国近代历史上最大的冤假错案。”
而最近，大陆网站也开始爆出罗干家族丑闻。网上流传罗干的侄子罗韶宇，涉及贪腐和黑社会的消息。
罗韶宇，被称为重庆“第二富的黑老大”。而罗韶宇家族财富迅速膨胀的时段，正好是中共前重庆市委书记薄熙来主政重庆时。薄熙来也是江泽民的追随者。

Li Dongsheng Under Investigation; Is Zhou Yongkang Next?
On December 20, the Chinese Communist Party
(CCP) Central Committee for Discipline Inspection
made an announcement via it’s website.
Li Dongsheng, Director of the 610 Office, and Vice
Minister for public security, is under investigation.
Li, also a confidant of former Politburo Standing
Committee member Zhou Yongkang, is suspected
of serious violation of party rules and state laws.
Zhou is believed by foreign media to be under arrest.
Party observers say that the announcement did not avoid
mentioning Li Dongsheng’s role in persecuting Falun Gong.
This indicates that charges brought against
Zhou will probably be announced soon.
In addition, it may also mean that Jiang Zemin
and Luo Gan could easily become the next target.
An announcement by Xinhua News Agency firstly described
Li Dongsheng role as “Deputy Head and Office Director
of Central Leading Group Dealing with Heretical Religions.”
This was followed by “Vice Minister and
Vice Party Secretary for Public Security”.
The “Central Leading Group Dealing with Heretical
Religions” has an arm called the “610 Office”.
Former heads of this group include
Li Lanqing, Luo Gan and Zhou Yongkang.
Former Directors of the “610 Office”
are Wang Maolin and Liu Jing.
Before being investigated, Li Dongsheng also
played the role as Director of the “610 Office”.
Heng He, political commentator: “This
move is directed against Zhou Yongkang.
Li Dongsheng’s whole political career is attached to
Zhou’s history, especially the persecution of Falun Gong.
Previously he was only known as
the Vice Public Security Minister.
But now his role in persecuting Falun Gong was revealed.
Before announcing the charges against Zhou,
some of his followers need to be thrown out first.”
Before retiring from his post, former CCP
leader Jiang Zemin increased the size of
Politburo Standing Committee from 7 to 9.
Jiang instated Luo Gan, who was head of
the Central Politics and Law Commission
at that time, into the Standing Committee.
He also promoted Zhou Yongkang from Sichuan
Provincial Party Secretary to Public Security Minister.
He further made an appointment requiring
Zhou to succeed Luo Gan as the next head
of the Central Politics and Law Commission.
While Li was Vice Head of China Central Television,
(CCTV) he was suspected of “introducing” the female
announcer Jia Xiaoye to Zhou Yongkang, as a “tribute”.
Zhou was also alleged to have murdered his
ex-wife, in order to be able to marry Jia Xiaoye.
In 2000, Li Dongsheng became Vice Head of The
State Administration of Radio, Film, and Television.
After his role in the propaganda of the “Tiananmen
Self-Immolation” incident in 2001, Li was promoted
to become Vice Head of the Propaganda Department.
In October 2009, Li was unexpectedly named as Vice Public
Security Minister, although he had no experience in that field.
Until he was placed under investigation, Li has been
working in that post along with his role as Vice Party
Secretary of the Bureau since February 2011.
Heng He: “Li has a long history of corruption,
probably since he worked as Vice Head of CCTV.
Why wasn’t he touched in the past decade? The answer
is exactly his important role in persecuting Falun Gong.
Because of that, he was ‘politically
correct’ among Jiang Zemin’s faction.
Therefore, no matter how corrupt
he was, nobody would punish him.”
Zhang Tianliang, a US-China political commentator,
believes that the investigation of Li is only the start
of shocking the whole Politics and Law Commission.
Zhou Yongkang has been under arrest,
and the news is about to be announced.
Furthermore, Li’s fall probably indicates
that Luo Gan is also in big trouble.
As head of the Politics and Law Commission,
Luo Gan took advantage of his power.
He ordered the Public Security Bureau to carry
out a nationwide investigation of Falun Gong.
This was with the intention of finding charges
to justify a ban on the spiritual practice.
In April 1999, He Zuoxiu, a relative of Luo,
wrote an article defaming Faluln Gong.
The article was published in a magazine
by Tianjin Education Institute.
Practitioners appealed in Tianjin against this article.
Authorities later called police to
beat and arrested 45 petitioners.
This directly led to the April 25 event, where ten thousand
Falun Gong practitioners gathered at Zhongnanhai.
After Li’s fall, Baidu partially lifted the ban on
information about Li Dongsheng, Liu Jing and
Luo Gan’s role in persecuting Falun Gong.
Chen Shuqing, Chinese democrat: “I hope
that is a sign of some good things.
I hope it brings an end to censorship about
the truth about the persecution of Falun Gong.
The party’s defamation and persecution of Falun Gong
has been, and continues to be, extremely cruel.
That is the biggest case of injustice in China’s recent history.”
Some Chinese websites have also begun
to reveal scandals of Luo Gan’s family.
Rumors have spread online that Luo Gan’s nephew,
Luo Shaoyu, is involved with corruption and the mafia.
Luo Shaoyu is known as the “Second
Richest Mafia Leader” in Chongqing City.
The period during which Luo’s family rapidly
accumulated their wealth, was exactly when
Bo Xilai worked as Chongqing Party Secretary.
Bo is also a part of Jiang Zemin’s faction.
