(Xi has pulled out all the tiger’s teeth),他的“党羽”和亲信早前都遭到整肃,目前的周永康基本上是一只死老虎了。

Political Liquidation Has Been Staged
ANCHOR:
While the world is closely watching North Korean leader
Kim Jong-un publicly purge his uncle and regent,
Jang Sung-taek, a political liquidation likely to have
a greater impact is also being staged in China.
The second most powerful North Korean, Jang Sung-taek,
went from regent to prisoner, and was executed immediately.
This speedy brutality displayed by the Communist regime –
from the arrest, trial to execution – has shocked the world.
Among his 20 crimes listed by official North Korean media,
the biggest was “anti-party, counter-revolutionary"
Sources alleged that Jang Sung-taek was purged
due to his having met with Kim Jong Nam, Kim Jong-un’s
eldest brother
and attempting to replace Kim Jong-un
with Kim Jong Nam.
And in Beijing, a similar political struggle is also taking place.
It has been reported that former Politburo Standing
Committee Member,
Zhou Yongkang had attempted a coup
with Bo Xilai, which trampled Beijing’s political bottom line.
Zhou Yongkang is facing the likelihood of extinction.
It is understood that Bo Xilai and Zhou Yongkang attempted
to seize power from the incumbent leader Xi Jinping
in order to escape punishment for their roles
in the persecution of Falun Gong.
Their coup plan was masterminded by former CCP leader
Jiang Zemin and Zeng Qinghong.
Zhou Yongkang was responsible for the implementation
of the plan with the joint military forces of the Jiang faction.
The plan would have replaced Xi Jinping with Bo Xilai
in a separately established central.
It derailed when Wang Lijun attempted to defect
at the U.S. consulate.
Zhao Pei, commentator: “The mighty Jiang Zemin and his
bloody debt gang are like the Chinese Jang Sung-taek.
The CCP will not tolerate him for his political struggle
and power grabbing.
Anyone who has committed crimes in the CCP system
will face a similar horrible fate."
Tang Ke was once called the “political godfather"
by Zhou Yongkang.
Zhou Yongkang was unexpectedly absent at his funeral
on the 11th in Beijing.
Meanwhile, Beijing’s official media reported on December 13
that Xi Jinping recently presided over a meeting with
17 former Politburo Standing Committee members.
The watchful netizen found that among the retired
former PSC, 18 are still alive.
But, with only 17 present in the meeting, most likely
the one missing member was Zhou Yongkang, who is said
to have been detained recently for interrogation.
Lin Zixu, commentator: “It looks like Zhou Yongkang
has indeed been sacked.
After this matter has subsided and people have accepted
this news, the Central will talk.
They seem quiet now, but internally, the power struggle
must have reached the climax.
This is the typical CCP struggle.
After a period of silence, explosive shocking news
will come out."
The Daily Beast reported on the 12th that a source in Beijing
disclosed that Zhou Yongkang has officially been placed
under investigation on charges that may include murder,
corruption, and plotting to overthrow the government.
The source confirmed that Zhou will be prosecuted
and faces trial like his close ally Bo Xilai.
If all the accusations prove to be true, the prosecution
could seek the death penalty.
This information has been confirmed with different inside
sources in Beijing and Shanghai, reported The Daily Beast.
The Daily Beast said that Xi Jinping prolonged taking
any action against Zhou due to a consensual rule made
in the 1980s by Party veterans to exempt members
of the Politburo Standing Committee from criminal
investigations and prosecution with the intention
of maintaining stability of the party.
However, with evidence mounting against Zhou
and his allies, President Xi was under tremendous pressure
to break the unwritten rule relating to senior members
of his cabinet.
Earlier, sources with ties to the leadership told Reuters,
“Xi has pulled out all the tiger’s teeth,"
referring to the downfall of Zhou Yongkang’s men.
Zhou Yongkang is like a dead tiger.
The question is,"Will Xi skin the tiger?" referring to a trial.
The World Organization to Investigate the Persecution
of Falun Gong released a bulletin on Dec. 7 calling for both
the Chinese and international communities to recognize that
the most fundamental crimes of Zhou Yongkang
are"crimes of genocide, torture, and crimes
against humanity" during the persecution of Falun Gong.
