【新唐人2013年04月02日讯】南通数百市民抗议给宝宝“下毒”
日前，大陆假奶粉“美素丽儿”被曝光，4月1号，数百名受害婴儿家长，到江苏省南通市政府集会，抗议政府不作为，遭到大量警察驱散，并抢夺横幅。
《大纪元》新闻网的报导说，抗议人群打着大幅标语，上头写着，“是谁让我们为宝宝喂下毒药”、“假奶粉害人、无良奸商还我宝宝健康”等，家长们要求当局解决假奶粉造成婴儿受害事件。政府官员没有出面解决问题，却派出大量警察驱散人群，并抢夺抗议者手中的横幅，双方发生激烈争执和摩擦。
报导说，假奶粉事件被曝光后，当地政府曾答应三天给家长答复，但是，五天过去了，仍然没有下文，受害婴儿父母认为又被政府欺骗，因此集会讨要说法。
网友连署﹕释放广州民运人士刘远东
3月29号，大陆网上发起声援广东民运人士刘远东先生签名活动，仅3天左右，签名人数已经超过500人。
据《美国之音》报导，活动发起人表示，刘远东只不过是行使宪法保护的权利，中共当局给他编织罪名是政治迫害。
广州企业家刘远东，今年2月23号在街头举牌，抗议朝鲜核爆，被处以行政拘留15天，罪名为非法集会和示威游行。刘远东在行政拘留期满后，又被转为刑事拘留，理由是涉嫌“抽逃注册资金罪”。
刘远东被刑拘，也引发网民的广泛关注，不断有人在网上或在街头举牌，呼吁当局立即释放他。
广东二千村民示威要求严惩凶手
3月29号，广东省茂名市信宜市高山村约2000村民，游行示威到信宜市政府，抗议开发商雇凶暴力征地，要求严惩凶手。
据《中国茉莉花革命》网站报导，因村民不同意将土地卖给开发商，与开发商发生多次冲突。3月26号，村民在阻止强行征地时，遭到数百名穿迷彩服，手持钢管、铁棍的人殴打，数十村民受伤，其中二十多人伤重住院。
村民要求严惩打人者，29号打着横幅，前往市政府。游行队伍还沿途向路人展示被打村民的图片。

New Milk Powder Scandal Found In China, Hundreds Protest in Nantong
Recently in China, a brand of fake
milk powder called “Hero” has been exposed.
On April 1, hundreds of affected baby’s parents
appealed to Nantong City Council, Jiangsu Province.
The protest was against the authorities
maintaining silence and not acting.
Many police came to disperse the
protesters. Banners were confiscated.
The Epoch Times website reported
that the protesters held big banners:
“Who authorized that babies can
be fed with poisoned powder?”
“Fake milk powder harmed my baby,
evil traders, return my baby’s health.”
The parents requested authorities
to investigate and solve the problem.
No officials came to meet the protesters.
However, many police were sent instead to
dismiss the protesters and confiscate banners.
Both sides’clashed in heated arguments.
The report said that after the tainted milk powder
incidents were exposed, local councils promised
to give answers within three days.
However, five days have already
passed, and there has been no answer.
The parents of effected babies were deceived by
the government again, thus the protest took place.
Netizens Urge Release of Guangzhou Democrat Liu Yuandong
On March 29, netizens launched an online signatory
campaign in support of Chinese democrat Liu Yuandong.
Within three days, more than 500
signatures had been collected.
Voice of America cited the campaign founder.
They said that Liu was only enacted his citizen’s
rights, which should be protected by law.
The Chinese Communist Party (CCP) creating
false charges for Liu is political persecution.
Liu Yuandong is an entrepreneur in Guangzhou.
On Feb 23, Liu held a placard on the street to
speak out against North Korea’s nuclear threat.
Subsequently, Liu was detained for 15 days under
allegations of ‘illegal gathering and demonstration.’
After Liu’s detention expired, he was sent
into criminal administrative detention.
The authorities claimed that he was held
on suspicion of evading registered capital.
Liu’s detention has widely concerned netizens.
Netizens held placards on the streets, urging
the authorities to release Liu immediately.
Two Thousand Guangdong Villagers Protest Against Land Seizures
On March 29, 2000 villagers from Gaoshan
village, Guangdong Province walked
to Xinyi City council, in order to protest.
They were protesting against land developers
hiring thugs to violently seize their land.
Protesters were calling on the
government to punish the criminals.
According to a report on democratic website
‘China Molihua Revolution’, villagers didn’t
agree to sell their lands to developers.
There have been many clashes.
On March 26, when villagers tried to stop land
seizures, hundreds of thugs in camouflage clothing,
and carrying iron rods, came up to beat villagers.
Several tens of villagers were injured,
twenty of whom needed hospital attention.
The villagers requested punishment for these criminals,
on March 29, as they walked to the city council offices.
During the parade along the road, villagers showed
the public pictures taken of when they were beaten.
