【新唐人2013年03月11日讯】千警夜袭上浦村 警民大战三小时
3月10号,广东揭西当局派出大批武警,包围因土地纠纷示威而与警方对峙数周的上浦村,并引发暴力冲突,造成约十辆车被烧毁,数十名村民受伤住院,其中多人重伤。
据《中国茉莉花革命》网站报导,当天凌晨二点,数千武警、上百辆警车及强力吊车,突然进入上浦村,清理被毁车辆和村民们设置的路障,并停电封网,切断村民与外界的联络,引起村民的激烈反抗。
警方施放催泪弹、爆震弹和烟雾弹,村民则用木棒、铁锹、石头,与挥舞电棍的武警搏斗约三个小时。
10号下午,广东当局发布消息说,逮捕了上浦村村委负责人和其他8人。
上浦村村民因不满官商勾结贱卖村里的500亩田地,自2月22号开始占领村广场示威,24号,村官雇佣的“黑社会”人员遭到抗议村民的反抗,约30辆车被砸毁。
纪念抗暴54周年 全球藏人游行集会
今年3月10号是中共军队进驻西藏,同时也是达赖喇嘛带领10多万藏人流亡印度54周年,全球各地流亡藏人分别举行纪念游行和集会。
10号,西藏流亡政府所在地印度达兰萨拉,数百名藏人举行集会纪念活动,警察阻止了一名男子自焚。
藏人行政中央司政洛桑森格在集会上,呼吁藏人不要采取惨烈的自焚抗议方式,并要求中共尊重西藏人民的意愿,改变目前的强硬政策。
同一天,印度新德里也有抗议中共统治西藏的示威;在台湾,抗议者在台北街道游行,没有发生暴力。
但是,在尼泊尔,有11名示威人士被当局以“反华活动违法”的理由逮捕。
《美国之音》报导说,大约有2万藏人生活在尼泊尔,尼泊尔因流亡藏人而受到北京的巨大压力。

Thousand of Police Dispatched to Shangpu Village;
The Conflict Lasts For Three Hours
On March 10th, Jiexi local authority in Guangdong Province
dispatched a huge number of armed police.
They suppressed protesters who have had an ongoing
confrontation with police for several weeks due to land disputes.
Molihua.org reported that at 2 am on the 10th, thousands of
armed police with hundreds of police cars and
cranes rushed into Shangpu village to clean out
broken vehicles and road blocks set up by villagers.
They also cut off the electricity, the Internet, and no
communication reached outside the village.
This action aroused strong resistance from the villagers.
The police used tear gas, high explosive plastic,
and smoke grenades to suppress villagers.
The villagers used wood sticks, shovels, and stones
to retaliate. The fight lasted for three hours.
Later on the 10th, Guangdong authority released details that
police arrested eight people including Shangpu Village managers.
Since February 22nd, Shangpu villagers started a protest on
the village square at village officials selling 500 acres of land.
On February 24th, village officials hired triad members to
suppress the villagers. About 30 cars were destroyed.
Tibetans Worldwide Parade For 54th Anniversary
Of Tibetan Uprising —-
March 10th is the 54th anniversary of the Chinese Communist
Party (CCP) marching on Tibet and the Dalai Lama leading 100,000 Tibetans to exile in India.
Exiled Tibetans all over the world hosted
commemoration parades and rallies.
Hundreds of Tibetans gathered for a commemoration rally
in Dharamsala, India.
This is where the Tibetan Government remains in Exile.
Police stopped a man from self-immolating.
Lobsang Sangay, the Sikyong of the Tibetan Government
in Exile, spoke on the rally.
He called on Tibetans not to use self-immolation to protest.
He also requested the CCP to respect Tibetan people’t
willingness, and to change its current hard-line policy.
The same day, Tibetans in New Delhi and Taiwan also held
a protest and parade against the CCP’t ruling in Tibet.
However, there were 11 people arrested in Nepal and
charged with participating in “illegal anti-China activities."
VOA reported that around 20,000 Tibetans live in Nepal.
Beijing authority put a lot of pressure on Nepal
due to Tibetan in exile there.
