Thus, there was a limit to one book per person,

Inside the bookstore everything was in calm,
but outside the store, a fight broke out.

Mao Zedong badges and holding placards

Economists Skeptical Over China’s Export Data
China’s latest customs report shows an export
growth of 14%, but many economists are skeptical.
Deutsche Welle reported that experts in Goldman Sachs
and UBS AG said that China’s shipping volumes do not
match with trading partner countries’ import volumes.
Experts believe that China’s customs data is unreliable.
UBS economists found an obvious discrepancy in the
growth of China’s exports to Taiwan and South Korea.
This was seen by comparing the data on imports
from China in those economies, for the same period.
The report also warns about distortions of China’s statistics.
Because China’s economic boom is slowing down,
outsiders are increasingly doubting its economic model.
Yet China has a new leadership, and good news
for it’s economic situation is just what they need.
