Fight Inside Plane Cabin
Recently, 2 drunken Chinese passengers beat each other on
a flight from Switzerland to China causing the flight to return.
Within one week, similar scenes occurred on another plane
from Saipan to Shanghai, which aroused attention.
Critics say rich Chinese businessmen or officials brought their
arrogance and brutality to the international community.
two Chinese passengers beat each up other due
to a switching seats disagreement.
They also beat the chief purser which led to the
return of the flight.
On the 7th, on another flight from Saipan to Shanghai,
several Chinese passengers entered into a melee.
A video of the scene went viral on the internet, which shows
a man dressed in a black and white top beating up
another person. Some passengers were saying: stop, stop.
One female flight attendant was shouting:
For safety concerns, please go back to your seats.
Yet, still more men joined the battle.
At the end of the video, security personnel separated them
and controlled the situation.
Why did they beat up each other?
Some say that it was at the time of food and
beverages and they fought over that.
Others say they fought over the empty rear seats.
On the 10th, Sichuan Airlines confirmed that
the flight was from Saipan to Shanghai, on an A330.
Because the situation was controlled,
it was not necessary to return the flight.
Hong Kong writer Zhang Chengjue said,
the Chinese are getting used to solving problems by fighting,
because the CCP educated them with
the distorted values of survival of the fittest.
Zhang Chengjue: “The morality of Chinese, especially after
the cultural-revolution, has been down-sliding for quite some time.
Who are those tourists? Some made money overnight.
Some belong to the privileged class. Those are much worse.”
Chinese lawyer Tang Jingling said, resentment
is all over the whole society.
Some rich people just show their arrogance and brutality
regardless of the occasion.
Tang Jingling: “In our country, people cheat and
harm each other.
In such an environment, everyone feels bitter.
Resentment is everywhere.
When they were poor, it was ok because they didn’t have
the chance to show it in the international community.
But now they are rich and can tour around the world.
So they brought this with them to the outside world.”
Recently, many Chinese tourists traveled overseas.
They spent lots of money, so they were considered
money-making trees. However, they were not lovable.
A recent survey conducted by an international travel
website show that on the list of most unwelcome tourists, the Chinese ranked second.
Shortly before, Chinese National Tourism Bureau listed
10 bad behaviors of Chinese tourists, including littering,
spitting, not flushing toilet, speaking loudly, swearing,
being rude and arrogant, and taking away hotel non-give-away items.
China was once called the country of propriety.
Why have its people become so lower class, so unwelcome?
Zhang Cheng Jue: “I’ll give you an example.
What does the CCP advocate? Party culture.
If something is true, but may not be good for the Party’s
image, then you will have to say lies, although it is bad to lie.
The collapse of morality did not happen overnight.
The CCP are at the root of it. It destroyed all traditional Chinese values.”
Tang Jingling said that the behavior of its people
makes the image of the country.
He believed that with the upcoming Chinese democracy, the
traditional values, and good behavior will gradually return.
