河北泊头富镇周官屯村300村民按手印要求释放法轮功学员王晓东的事件，不仅在中共高层引起震动，在大陆民间也得到广泛的支持，大陆知识界人士、律师、维权人士等纷纷表示，大陆民众对这种迫害好人的事越来越看不下去，会有更多的人出来为法轮功学员发声。
据《大纪元》新闻网报导，一名大陆知识份子接受采访时表示，由于受王晓东“300手印”事件触动，北京知识界多名公共知识份子正在酝酿上书中共中央，要求解决法轮功事件，给予法轮功宪法地位。这位人士说，江泽民打击法轮功就是一个政治错误，国家层面必须给这些人道歉，给予这些人足够的经济赔偿。
大陆维权律师唐荆陵也表示，中共当局镇压法轮功，严重的违背了法律，是践踏人权的事情，是真正的犯罪行为。唐荆陵说，周官屯村村民的举动，是很有勇气的行为，只有越来越多的人勇敢的站出来，这个国家才会有真正的自由和人权。
上海维权人士毛恒凤也对河北300多户村民敢于联名盖手印，要求释放法轮功学员行动表示钦佩。她说，也许他们上海市民某一天，也会像河北300多户村民那样，公开签名支持法轮功。因为，中共打压法轮功就是在打压全国人民。
上海市民王先生则表示，尽管很多人暂时还不方便公开支持，但大家普遍认识到，“中共打压法轮功”是绝对错误的。他认为，中共肯定会对300多户村民进行压制，但媒体和众多民众眼光已聚焦到河北周官屯村的300多户村民，他更希望全国民众都起来，为法轮功学员和300多户村民发出响亮的声音。
大陆民众为叫停“孔子学院”喝采
中共假借孔子之名以输出共产党文化为目地，在美国办的“孔子学院”，在遭到美国民间的抵制后，最近终于被美国官方叫停，而中共外交部以及官方报纸对美国政府的举措所提出的异议，又被中国大陆网友喝倒彩。
美国国务院5月17号发布的公告，要求美国“孔子学院”中国教师在本学年结束时，也就是今年6月底必须回国。美国国务院的通告如果全部实施，美国的“孔子学院”可能就此夭折。
中共喉舌媒体《人民日报》海外版发文批评美国说，“喊停”孔子学院是不负责任的单方谬举。
不过，中共当局的异议，却没有得到中国民间的认可，相反，中国网友都为美国的举措叫好。
The 300 Finger Prints Widely Supported
300 villagers in Hebei signed a letter with their finger prints
to call for the release of Falun Gong practitioner Wang Xiaodong.
This shocked high-level Chinese Communist Party (CCP)
officials, and was widely supported by the society.
Many celebrities include intellectuals, lawyers and human rights
activists commented that the public in China can’t accept good people being persecuted anymore.
There would have many people speak out
for Falun Gong.
The Epoch Times interviewed one intellectual who said that
intellectuals in Beijing attempt to echo the sentiments of the 300 finger print event.
They plan to call for the central regime to solve the Falun
Gong issue by giving Falun Gong legal rights.
He also said Jiang Zemin’s repression of Falun Gong
was politically wrong.
The central regime must send an apology and make sufficient
financial compensation to Falun Gong.
Activist lawyer Tang Jingling said that the regime’s
suppression of Falun Gong is against the law.
CCP violates human rights and they are real criminals.
Tang stated that Zhouguantun villagers are brave.
If more and more people stand up bravely, this country can
have real freedom and human rights.
Shanghai activist Mao Hengfeng shows her respect to 300
villagers who urge for the release of Falun Gong practitioners.
She said perhaps one day in Shanghai, the citizens will do
as Hebei villagers did, sign petitions openly supporting Falun Gong,
because the CCP’s suppression of Falun Gong
is the same as suppression of everyone.
Shanghai resident Mr. Wang said that although many people
can’t openly show their support, everyone knows the CCP’s persecution of Falun Gong is absolutely wrong.
He believes the CCP certainly will take revenge on the 300
villagers,
but media and public are drawing attention to the 300
villagers in Zhouguantun village, Hebei Province.
They all hope the entire nation can stand up and speak loudly
for Falun Gong practitioners and the 300 villagers.
Chinese Netizens Support US’s Closure of Confucius Institutes
The CCP uses the name of Confucius to export their party
culture overseas.
Since Confucius Institutes in US have been increasingly
rejected by citizens, finally the US announced its stance to clear it up.
The Chinese Foreign Ministry and CCP mouthpiece
questioned the US, but Chinese netizens stood on the US’s side.
On May 17, US State Department issued a notice saying
Chinese teachers in Confucius Institute must leave by June 30.
If the notice is completely carried out, the Confucius Institutes
in the US could face critical situation.
The CCP mouthpiece People’s Daily overseas version
criticized the US’s move, calling it, “irresponsible.”
However, CCP’s responses didn’t gain sympathy
from mainlanders.
On the contrary, Chinese netizens applauded the decision
of the US.
