Is “Vacation-Style Treatment” a lie?
On April 2, Chinese Communist Party’s (CCP) mouthpiece
media, People’s Daily online, published an article.
It was titled “Bravely Showing Sword to Rumour Senders.”
The article aroused public’s controversy.
Netizens said that the Chinese Communist Party’s (CCP)
media and the regime were the biggest rumour creators.
“CCAV (CCTV) tells lie everyday, why didn’t
the law show sword towards it?”
“Is Vacation-style treatment a lie? If it is,
whose neck should be chopped?
While you said ‘showing sword’,
you should include yourself.”
“Look through six decades of newspapers, who was spreading
the most rumours and making the deepest impact?”
On March 31, lawyer Gordon Chang, author of a book
“The Coming Collapse of China”, addressed the Taiwan Center in Los Angeles.
He took the Wang Lijun’s incident as an example.
He said that “the CCP’s remaining days of political power
had almost reached the end.”
Gordon Chang analysed that according to the current CCP
succession crisis, civilian protests, and economic weakening,
the CCP’s political power doesn’t look optimistic.
He said, “Now Beijing dictators were surrounding by various
crises, CCP internally falls into pieces.
It’s strength of power is weakened, and the military’s loyalty
was also shaken.
One party and one man’s leadership are hardly
to be continued.”
Thus, Gordon believes that the CCP
is facing their dead end crisis.
Many internet sites in mainland China were closed due
to spreading news of a “Military coup, unusual troop
movements, and the high-level officials’ power struggle.”
Some websites and microblog forums have been ceased,
many people have been arrested.
Netizen’s said the regime was “punishing the masses.”
Deutsche Presse-Agentur reported that the CCP strengthening
internet control indicates an intensified situation.
This relates to Bo Xilai’s political scandals.
It also revealed that the CCP has a crack showing
in maintaining the top level’s solidarity.
In addition, on April 2, dissident artist Ai Weiwei’s
accounts agent said that Ai’s company received a tax
authority Decision Notice about Ai’s tax evasion penalty.
However, the notice severely violated the law on
procedure, evidence and the operation body.
Ai told Voice of America that his tax case was imposed,
the decision came from high-level officials. It was a political order.
Meanwhile, Ai believed that such a highlighted case attracting
international’s attention, but in mainland China, one can’t see any reports, was not normal.
The company’s lawyer, Pu Zhiqiang, added that they were
preparing the legal document.
It will bring an administrative litigation lawsuit to Beijing
Chaoyang Court within 15 days.
