Former Economic Advisor of Putin: Quitting CCP Movement in China is a Major Event
On Jan. 1st, 2012, former economic policy advisor of Vladimir
Putin, Andrey Illarionov, announced the “10 major incidents
of 2011” which were selected by his research institute and
announced during an Echo of Moscow radio station program.
Andrey said more than 100 million Chinese openly quitting the
Chinese Communist Party (CCP) and its associated organizations is one of the three most important events of 2011.
Andrey Illarionov is a Russian economist, politician, and
strategic analyst.
He was also the founder and head of the Institute for Economic
Analysis and served as chief economic policy advisor for Vladimir Putin from 2000-2005.
Andrey later openly opposed the authoritarian rule of Putin’s
party.
He currently serves as an assembly member of the
“Other Russian Party,” and is an influential figure in Russia.
Echo of Moscow was the first independent radio station
of the former Soviet Union.
Currently, it is the only private political commentary radio
station in Moscow.
In the Echo of Moscow program entitled, “No Kidding” on
Jan 1st, Andrey announced the results of his research.
Andrey Illarionov, “Now let’s discuss things happening in the
world.
There are three things I think are very important and
must be mentioned.
One of which is the “Arab Spring’; second is the crisis in
Europe, a crisis of the entire European model which
might result in an economic, political and social
crisis; last is the Quit CCP movement in China.”
Andrey mentioned that the importance of the quitting CCP
movement in China is due to the scale of the movement,
the importance of China, and the psychological significance
of citizens breaking free from the party.
He believes that this is one of the most important events.
Andrey, “Currently there are more than 100 million Chinese
who openly withdrew from the CCP.
I want to remind people, seven years ago, in 2004,
a book entitled, ‘Nine Commentaries on the Communist Party’
was published which encourages all Chinese citizens to quit
the CCP and its associated organizations.”
The director of Global Service Center for Quitting the CCP,
Yi Rong, told NTD the quitting CCP movement is peacefully
disintegrating the CCP; Andrey’s comments show that the
influence of the movement is increasing.
Yi Rong, “His judgment is very correct, 100 million quitting the
CCP is a major event; not only for China, but for the entire world.
China is the last and largest communist totalitarian country.
A China without the CCP will be very important for world peace;
it will change the structure of the world.
It is important news of 2011, and will grow more influential in
the future.”
Dec 25th, 2011 is the 20 year anniversary of the fall of the
Soviet Union.
Before the Soviet Union fell, there was also a large quitting
the Communist Party movement.
Around 4.2 million people quit the Communist Party,
around 1/5 of the total members.
Former director at Institute of Chinese Economic Reform,
Cheng Xiaonong, said the Russian people had lost all hope in Communism at the time.
Cheng Xiaonong, “During the time of Gorbachev, several
million people already quit the party.
There was a quitting communist party movement.
It forced Gorbachev to accelerate political reform,
because he knew if he didn’t reform, the party would be
abandoned by the people; without reform, it would
lose more of its members and eventually be wiped out.
For this reason, the fall of the Soviet Union started with the
quitting communist party movement.”
Currently, the number of people openly quitting CCP
organizations on the Epoch Times website is approaching 110 million, and increasing at around 60,000 per day.
Russia’s today is China’s tomorrow.
Global Service Center for Quitting the CCP wrote in their
New Year’s greeting, “a new China only exists without the CCP,
when 100s of millions of Chinese gain spiritual freedom,
disintegration of the CCP is only the natural result.
Quitting the CCP is the way for a rebirth of the Chinese civilization.
