Germans Imitate Deer Calls
德国人模仿鹿鸣

It’s the serious business of Germany’s 13th annual deer calling championships.
这是认真的事情：德国第13届鹿鸣冠军赛。
Eight men and one woman vied for the title in Dortmund.
八位男士与一位女性，在多特蒙德竞争这项头衔。
And competition judge, Konrad Esterl says deer calls are complex and varied.
比赛裁判Konrad Esterl说，鹿鸣是复杂的且各种各样的。
[Konrad Esterl, Competition Judge]:
“It’s important to imitate the deer call as closely as possible. The mating deer has a different call than an old deer … and the very old deer is sitting comfortably in the brush and doesn’t say that much anymore."
比赛裁判说：“尽可能接近地模仿鹿鸣是很重要的。交配中的鹿比起老鹿有不同的鸣叫…老鹿舒服地坐在林子里，不再会说很多。”
Imitating deer calls is an important part of hunting.
模仿鹿鸣是打猎很重要的一部分。
But contestant Immo Ortlebb says it’s not only about shooting the animals.
但是参赛者Immo Ortlebb说，这并不仅只是射击动物而已。
[Immo Ortlebb, Contestant]:
“It’s not always about shooting them or hunting them, but it’s a nature spectacle. To get very close to the deer, just a few meters away, is extremely enjoyable."
Immo Ortlebb说：“这并总是关于射击或是猎捕它们，而是一种自然的场景。当非常接近鹿的时侯，只有几公尺以外，是极为享受的。”
And the only female entrant, Hildergard Zervos agrees.
唯一女性的参赛者Hildergard Zervos同意这一点。
[Hildergard Zervos, Participant]:
“It’s a joy. I just like it and you get a bit closer to nature."
Immo Ortlebb说：“这是一种乐趣。我就是喜欢，你会更接近自然。”
The winner was Andreas Toepfer who will represent Germany at the European championships in Slovenia.
最后赢家是Andreas Toepfer，将代表德国参加在斯洛维尼亚的欧洲冠军赛。
