【新唐人2016年03月10日訊】這次日全食奇觀落在1條約150公里寬的路徑上。9日，美國天文迷為了觀賞這一天文奇景，搭上阿拉斯加到夏威夷的飛機全程欣賞。
這架班機共有181名乘客，在3萬6,000英尺高空上看到長達1分53秒的日全食。看到此一奇景，全機乘客幾乎尖叫騷動，興奮莫名。

這次難得的日全食是因月球非常靠近地球，完全遮住太陽光。錯過這一次要再等3年，也就是要等到2019年1月6日才能再見。
