聲援範木根 警察再抓十多人
蘇州抗強拆公民範木根被控「故意傷害」案,2月5號繼續在蘇州市中院開庭審理,數十名江蘇常熟源興包裝廠討薪員工前往聲援,十多人在法庭外被警方抓走。
潛江20多農民工市府討薪
湖北潛江市的20多名農民工,2月5號到市政府門口拉橫幅討薪,要求湖北盛遠開發商還他們血汗錢,大量警察、警車、特警等,在場戒備。事件持續一整天,但討薪農民工一無所獲。
年關近 北京訪民人數增加
年關將近,大陸各地前往北京上訪的訪民增加,2月5號,到中共中紀委上訪的800餘人,被押往久敬莊黑監獄關押,而前往中南海、六部口和西單商場周邊上訪的300多訪民,則被押送到北京市西城區派出所。
四川近千集資案受害人政府請願
2月4號,四川省遂寧市的近千集資案受害人到市政府集會,要求政府承認在他們在當地三家融資公司跑路事件中的責任,要求主管市長引咎辭職,大量警察戒備。部分請願者集體下跪,但遂寧市政府無人理睬。

Police Arrest More Supporters of Fan Mugen
Fan Mugen, a Suzhou citizen, was accused of “intentional injury"
for resisting forced demolition.
The court hearing continued on Feb. 5 with dozens of supporters
from a local factory outside of the court room.
These workers were on a protest against wage arrears.
More than a dozen of them were arrested.
Migrant Workers Seek Justice Against Qianjiang City Government
More than 20 migrant workers held up banners on Feb. 5,
outside the city hall of Qianjiang City, Hubei Province.
They demanded their wage arrears from a local developer,
Sheng Yuang Real Estate.
A large number of police and armoured police were on
patrol at the site.
The protest took place for an entire day but to no avail.
Beijing Petitioners Increase as the Chinese New Year’s Approaches
As the Chinese New Year is approaching,
petitioners from across China have swelled in Beijing.
On Feb. 5, more than 800 petitioners in front of the Central
Commission for Discipline Inspection were taken
to Jiujingzhuan black jail.
And more than 300 petitioners in front of Zhongnanhai,
Liubukou, and Xidan Department Store were transferred
to the police station in Xicheng District.
Victims of Investment Scam Petition Local Government of Sichuan
On Feb. 4, nearly one thousand victims of an investment scam
gathered in front of the local city hall requesting the government
take responsibility for three local financing companies』 owners
ranning away with the money.
They wanted the mayor of Suining City, Sichuan Province, to resign.
A large number of police were on hand.
Some petitioners even knelt down but the protest went unheeded.
