六旬老婦為救丈夫 市府前舉牌被抓
總部位於美國的《明慧網》28號報導，山東省龍口市法輪功學員吳曼萍，27號因為在龍口市政府前舉牌，抗議當局非法綁架丈夫伊向陽，而被龍口警察綁架，現被非法拘禁在新嘉派出所。
據了解，在中共非法迫害法輪功的15年裡，吳曼萍和伊向陽幾次遭到綁架迫害。伊向陽曾被非法關押在山東省監獄四年，遭受各種酷刑。今年8月24號，伊向陽又被東萊派出所綁架，並被非法批捕。
只因258元 65歲老人被判3年
據《明慧網》28號報導，武漢市礄口區65歲的法輪功學員康佑元，去年12月3號在大市場跟人換整錢時，因為身上有258元印有「法輪大法好」的人民幣，被東西湖區吳家山派出所警察綁架。之後在被非法關押期間，康佑元被迫害而吐血，但申請保外就醫被拒絕。康佑元近期被東西湖區法院非法判刑三年，10月28號被送往洪山監獄繼續非法關押。
廣州維權人士蘇昌蘭被刑拘
大陸《維權網》28號報導，廣東佛山維權人士蘇昌蘭，已經證實被當局以「煽動顛覆國家政權」的罪名刑事拘留。
蘇昌蘭27號早上9點，被佛山市南海區桂城派出所的四名警察帶走，下午警察還拿走了她家中3臺電腦，晚上11點左右，又有10幾名警察以查暫住人口為由，去她家仔細檢查。但蘇昌蘭具體因為甚麼事件被控「煽動顛覆國家政權」，目前還不清楚。
雲南村民維護水源 警方持槍恐嚇
24號，上百特警、武警持槍闖進雲南省德宏州盈江縣舊城鎮東山村，抓捕維權村民，被上千名村民圍堵，期間有警察一度連開數槍恐嚇村民，並打傷十多人，但是最終沒能抓走村民。
據了解，因為當地政府沒有與村民協商，就動工修建水廠，引走水源，引發附近村民不滿，22號東山村等多個村莊的上千村民名發起維權，搗毀水廠工地，並打傷了部分政府人員。

Let’s take a look at the latest human rights defending incidents
in mainland China.
Elderly Female Detained for Protesting against
Illegal Arrest of her Husband
On Oct.28, Minghui (minghui.org) reported that Falun Gong
practitioner Wu Manping who lives in Longkou City, Shandong
Province, was abducted by local police on the 27th.
On that day, Wu held a slogan in front of the municipal
government to protest against the illegal arrest of
her husband Yi Xiangyang.
Wu is currently detained at Xinjia public security bureau.
Over the past 15 years of the Chinese regime persecution of
Falun Gong, Wu Manping and Yi Xiangyang have experienced
several incidents of unlawful arrest kidnapping and detention.
Yi was detained in Shandong Provincial Prison for 4 years,
where he was tortured badly.
On August 24 2014, Yi was again abducted by local public
security officers and had been held in unlawful arrest.
A 65-year-old Sentenced to 3 Years in Prison over bills of 258
Chinese Yuan
Minghui reported on Oct.28 about a 65-year-old Falun Gong
practitioner Kang Youyuan from Qiaokou District,
Wuhan City.
On Dec.3 2013, Qiao was abducted by police from
Wujiashan public security bureau because he had bills
of 258 Yuan ($42) printed with “Falun Dafa is Good”
when exchanging them.
Following that, Kang was persecuted severely and had
spitted blood under illegal detention.
He requested for medical parole but was denied.
Recently, Kang was unlawfully sentenced to 3 years
in prison by the District Court.
He was transferred to Hongshan Prison for detention
on Oct.28.
Guangdong Rights Activist Su Changlan Accused of:
“Inciting Subversion of State Power”
Chinese Human Rights Defender (weiquanwang.org)
reported on Oct.28 that:
Guangdong human rights activist Su Changlan was confirmed
to be under criminal detention for allegedly:
“inciting subversion of state power”.
At 9 A.M..,Oct.27, Su was brought away by four police
officers from Guicheng public security bureau of Nanhai District,
Foshan City.
On the same afternoon, police came again to take away three
computers from her home.
At 11 P.M..about a dozen police officers made a thorough
inspection of Su’s home, in the name of:
“temporary resident inspection”.
Currently it is not clear why Su Changlan was charged with
“inciting subversion of state power”.
Armed Police Shot at Yunnan Villagers in Water Source Battle
On Oct.24, hundreds of armed police invaded Dongshan
village of Yingjiang County, Dehong Prefecture, Yunnan Province.
The police attempted to capture protesters and were
surrounded by thousands of villagers.
Police had shot to threaten villagers and dozens were injured.
However, police failed to arrest any villager in the end.
Sources said that the villagers’ ordeal results from the fact that
local government started construction of a dam and diverted the
water source away without negotiating with local residents.
To defend their rights, thousands of residents from
several villages destroyed the construction site on Oct.22.
Several governmental officers were injured in the conflict.
