長期擔任中共央行行長的周小川最近可能會被免職。《華爾街日報》9月25號報導說，這是中共內部權力角鬥之後，廣泛的人事變動中的一部分。
報導引述中共知情官員的話說，最有可能接替周小川執掌央行的人選，是現任山東省省長郭樹清。
據知情官員透露，中共黨魁習近平希望能夠安插更多的自己政治盟友擔任政府、軍隊及黨內高層職務，預計人事變動將在下月的中共十八屆四中全會期間進行，不過，周小川的問題，目前還沒有最後決定。
21世紀傳媒總編總經理被抓
9月25號，「21世紀報系」的總編瀋灝和總經理陳東陽，在辦公室被警方帶走，警方還搜查了他們的辦公室。
中國大陸媒體在轉載來自「新華社發佈」客戶端的報導後，很快又傳出消息說，「南方報業傳媒集團」當天下午已經開會決定，免除了瀋灝、陳東陽的總編和總經理職務。
由於被抓的這兩個人，都是大陸傳媒業「南方系」的最核心人物之一，因此，這個消息引起中國大陸媒體同行的震驚，網絡上，人們甚至形容說這是中國新聞界的大地震。
有媒體人評論說：「瀋顥都被帶走了，這是要整死《21世紀經濟報導》的節奏了，好可怕。大規模反腐+大規模抓媒體人，搞不懂。」
有記者則回應說：「顯然，不換思想就換人是真的啊。」
新華社違法 曝光伊力哈木案證據
中共當局日前以「分裂國家」的罪名，將北京維族學者伊力哈木判處無期徒刑後，激起了海內外輿論的強烈譴責。為了平息輿論，9月25號，中共喉舌《新華網》公布了所謂的「伊力哈木案庭審庭審紀實和視頻」，將案件的案卷證據材料曝光。
伊力哈木的辯護律師劉曉原和李方平，都在中國大陸社交平臺「微信」上表示，《新華網》公布的這個東西，存在很多不實和隱瞞，還有很多篡改。而且法院在判決還未生效的上訴期，允許媒體曝光案卷證據，是嚴重違法。
劉曉原表示，他已經給烏魯木齊法院主審伊力哈木案的法官打過電話，指出了法院的行為違法，主審法官只表示會向上級反映。
由於《新華網》公布的材料都是選擇對伊力哈木不利的片段，劉曉原要求中共當局能夠公布法院公開庭審的全部錄像，以正視聽。

WSJ: Chinese Communist Party (CCP) Central Bank Chief Zhou Xiaochuan Possibly Removed
Zhou Xiaochuan’s, long career as central bank chief might be ended soon. September 25, Wall Street Journal reported that it is part of wide personnel changes after CCP’s inner power struggle.
The report quoted sources that the most likely candidate to succeed Zhou Xiaochuan is the current Shandong governor Guo Shuqing.
The CCP leader Xi Jinping tries to place more allies into top positions in the government, military and Communist Party, said party officials with knowledge of the plans.
The personnel shifts are expected around a major party conclave to be held in October, the officials said, while cautioning that no final decision about Mr. Zhou has been made.
Publisher and General Manager of 21st Century Detained
September 25, 21st Century Department publisher Shen Hao and general manager Chen Dongyang were taken away by police from their offices, which the police also searched.
It’s said that Nanfang Media Group fired the publisher Shen Hao and the general manager Chen Dongyang at the afternoon meeting after mainland media reprinted the report from Xinhua News Agency client.
Since the two arrested men are core people in mainland Media Nanfang Group, the news shocked the mainland media. People even said, on the Internet, it’s a big earthquake in the Chinese press
Some media commented that: “it’s horrible because Shen Hao taken away is to kill the 21st Century Business Herald. We really can’t understand such massive corruption plus massive arrests of media people."
A reporter responded: “Obviously, it’s true to change people without changing the idea."
Ilham Case Evidence Illegally Exposed By Xinhua News
Chinese authorities recently sentenced Beijing Uyghur scholar Ilham to life imprisonment on charges of secession which triggered strong condemnation globally. September 25, the CCP mouthpiece Xinhua published supposed documentary and video of the Ilham case trial to expose the case evidence.
Ilham’s lawyer Liu Xiaoyuan and Li Fangping posted on the mainland social platform Weixin that most evidence published by Xinhua Agency is false, concealed and tampered with.
It’s a serious offense for the Court to allow the media to expose
the case evidence at the appeal time for an invalid verdict.
Liu Xiaoyuan said he talked by phone to the Ilham case judge in Urumqi court, about the court’s illegal behavior. The judge said he will reflect to his superior.
Liu Xiaoyuan asked the Chinese authorities to release all the videos of open trial to set the record straight as the Xinhua News published all clips negative to Ilham.
