【新唐人2014年06月19日訊】美教授協會呼籲撤銷孔子學院
美國大學教授協會日前發表聲明說，為了維護學術自由，美國的大學應該取消或者重談關於「孔子學院」的協議。根據這些協議，美國和加拿大的大學校園裡，已經建立了近100所孔子學院。
聲明說，「孔子學院作為中共政府的一個分支在運作，忽視學術自由。」
據了解，在孔子學院裡不能討論達賴喇嘛、西藏問題、台灣問題、中國軍備以及中共高層權力鬥爭等中共政府認為敏感的問題。
這些大學教授認為，美國的大學允許中共政府來制定僱傭和監督孔子學院教學人員的準則、規定課程和討論的範圍，犧牲了這些大學及教學人員的獨立性和學術上的客觀性。
去年12月，加拿大大學教師協會也曾發表聲明，敦促各個大學斷絕與孔子學院的關係。
德專家：中國手機預裝惡意軟體
德國網路安全公司「G數據」，最近在其網站上發表聲明說，他們公司的專家對一款名為星N9500的安卓系統智能手機進行測試後發現，星N9500手機中存在一款以谷歌播放應用商店進程為掩護的，名為Usupay.D的木馬惡意軟體。
「G數據」公司說，在用戶不知情的情況下，裝有間諜軟體的手機，向位於中國的一個具體地址不明的伺服器發送個人數據，並且能夠繼續秘密安裝其他應用軟體。這樣，用戶的個人信息如網上銀行信息、電子郵件和簡訊等可被監視，手機通話也可被監聽，攝像頭和話筒甚至可被遠程操控。因為惡意軟體被預裝在手機的操作系統軟體中，所以無法刪除或卸載。
據美國《華爾街日報》報導，這款手機的生產商是總部位於深圳的「天星」手機公司。
廣西村民被處死 家屬卻接開庭通知
廣西桂林市靈川縣三街鎮村民全水林，兩年前因反抗強徵，在自家耕地上砍死一名強行徵地的官員，6月16號被執行死刑。
據《自由亞洲電臺》報導，全水林的家屬事前沒有接到死刑執行通知，卻被告知上訴案當天開庭宣判。雖然當天家人被帶到法院見了全水林，但不知是處死前的最後一面。
律師認為，全水林案應該屬於防衛過當，判處死刑量刑過重。全水林的家屬也透露，警方證人有作偽證的嫌疑。

US Association Calls For Revocation
of The Confucius Institute
The American Association of University Professors recently
issued a statement about the Confucius institute.
They want to cancel or reconsider the agreement of the
Confucius Institute construction to uphold academic freedom.
These agreements show there are around 100 Confucius
Institutes in university campuses in the US and Canada.
The statement said the Institute ignores academic freedom
because its a branch operation of the Chinese government.
It seems people cannot discuss sensitive issues including the
Dalai Lama, the Tibet problem, the Taiwan problem, Chinese
military and the Chinese Communist Party (CCP) power
struggle when at the Confucius Institute.
These professors believe US universities gave up academic
objectivity and independence of the University and teachers.
They allowed the CCP to develop guidelines, courses and the
seminar range for staff members at the Confucius Institute.
In December 2013, the Canadian Association of University
Teachers issued a statement to universities.
It urged them to sever relations with the Confucius Institute.
German Expert: Chinese-Made Smartphone
Comes With Spyware
G Data, a German cyber-security company, recently issued a
statement about spyware in smartphones.
It said the company’s experts tested a star
N9500 Android Smartphone.
They found Trojan malware called Usupay.D in the phone
which looked like the Google Play Application Store.
G Data said that during testing, it found the spyware on the
smartphone sends phone identification and specification data
to an unidentified server located in China and continues to
install other secret applications.
The user’s personal information including online banking
information, e-mail and text messages can be monitored;
phone calls can also be monitored; even cameras and
microphones can be remotely controlled.
There is no way to delete or uninstall the malware because
of its pre-installation.
According to the US Wall Street Journal report, the phone
manufacturer is Tianxing mobile phone company in Shenzhen.
Family Received a Hearing Notice But
Their RelativeWas Executed Instead
Guilin villager Quan Shuilin was executed on June 16th for
killing an official who requisitioned his land two years ago.
According to Radio Free Asia, Quan Shuilin’s family was not
aware of the execution notice.
They were told the appeal would take place.
His family didn’t know it was the last meeting before his
death when they were taken to see Quan Shuilin in court.
Quan Shuilin had a heavy sentence because it should
belong to an excessive defense case.
Quan Shuilin’s family said the police witnesses were
suspected of committing perjury.
