【新唐人2014年06月13日訊】為捍衛自己的律師執業權，湖北武漢律師張科科在「武漢律師協會」前的絕食行動，受到中國大批人權律師和公民的聲援響應，在大家的關注下，武漢市「律協」12號終於蓋章，通過張科科的律師年檢考核。中國社會輿論對當局打壓律師多感到憤怒。請看以下的報導。
湖北武漢律師張科科因代理法輪功案件，5月底被「武漢律師協會」暫緩律師證年檢。
張科科6月10號開始以「絕食」的方式，在「武漢律協」門口抗議。隨後，許多中國公民和律師也加入絕食抗議行列，他們從11號開始，以「百日接力絕食祈禱」的方式來聲援張科科，並抗議當局對律師權益的打壓。
湖北武漢律師張科科：「首先，年檢考核制度是違法的，在這種環境之下，律師又不得不接受這種年檢考核，律師如果不通過這個所謂的考核年檢，閱卷、會見、辦理案子都會受到很多的刁難，執業受很大的限制。所以說，律師不能夠服從這個違法的年檢考核制度，但是又不得不去接受這種考核—-這種無奈的一種選擇。」
張科科12號向《新唐人》表示，武漢市「律協」副會長已經找他談話，對他的暫緩考核予以解除。
張科科：「在下午兩點給我蓋章，通過考核。絕食現在開始結束了。我非常感謝我們律師事務所的主任，在這個事情上非常的堅持，非常的幫助我，也感謝整個社會的公民朋友、律師朋友，還有媒體朋友、還有你(記者)。無論是在場聲援，還是通過網絡，各種途徑，通過絕食的接力來幫助我、聲援我……對他們表示感謝。」
最近，大陸25萬律師正面臨律師證的「年檢」考核，每年此時，中共司法局對於曾經代理所謂敏感案件的律師，及相關律師事務所，多以暫緩辦理年檢的方式故意打壓正義律師。
大陸維權人士王蘭：「他們去刁難律師的話，那就是等於以權代法、以言壓法，律師就是堅持法律的原則，所以才遭受打壓，這也就是他們(當局)的一種專製表現，但是他們(律師們)能夠抱團堅持維權的話，這種精神也是值得提倡。他們是堅持法律的原則、和道德的底線，堅持正義的東西，我們當然是應該支持的。以後，這種專制的制度它發展下去的話，我覺得人人都是受害者。」
最近兩年，很多中國律師遭到來自公部門的不公平對待，中國的律師們，也意識到自己未來所面臨的危險，共同簽署了《中國律師互助意向書》。
大陸法律學者徐昕也一直在網上呼籲：取消律師和律師事務所的「年檢」制度。
美國《大紀元》新聞網站，日前引述徐昕的話報導說：有60多名律師上書建議廢除律師事務所和律師「年檢」。
原《陝西電視臺》記者馬曉明：「十幾二十年前比較少，現在有越來越多的律師敢於站出來，替維權的民眾提供法律援助，這就說明中國的律師日益的勇敢、日益的提高自己的法律意識和自己的社會責任感。」
報導還引述廣東律師呂紅兵的話說：律師是個高度市場化的行業，同收入來自國家財政的公務員及事業單位從業人員相比，律師更天然的接受市場和當事人的評價和監督，「年檢」完全沒有必要。
馬曉明：「現在我們可以看出來中共所謂的法制、所謂的依法治國這些口號，實際上都是很虛偽的，在專制體制下沒有法制可言，法律就是統治者的工具，如果它覺得這個工具有礙於它的時候，它可以毫不猶豫的把法律踩在腳底下，專制體制它不會自動的退出他們的統治地盤的。」
近年來，大陸律師因代理法輪功信仰者被非法拘捕、關押、判刑等案件，而遭中共當局打壓的事例越來越多。「武漢律協」以張科科代理法輪功案件為由對他進行打壓，他相信這項決定背後是由司法局主導。

Hunger Strike Relay Support Gets The Lawyer Through
His Annual Assessment
Wuhan lawyer Zhang Keke went on hunger strike to defend
his right to practice law.
Solidarity from supporters finally made Wuhan Lawyers
Association approve Zhang’s annual assessment.
The Chinese Communist Party (CCP) suppression of lawyers
by denying their annual assessment has angered citizens.
Here is our report.
Wuhan Bar Association suspended lawyer Zhang Keke’s
annual assessment in May.
This was in retaliation for his taking on defense cases
of Falun Gong practitioners.
Starting on June 10, Zhang Keke protested in front of the
Bar Association office y going on hunger strike.
Many Chinese and lawyers also joined him in the hunger
strike to show their support.
The planned 100 day hunger strike and prayer relay
started on June 11.
Zhang Keke “The annual assessment system is illegal but
lawyers are forced to accept the assessment.
Without passing the assessment, lawyers face difficulties and
restrictions in working like getting documents and meetings.
Lawyers should not obey this illegal system,
but are left with no choice”
Zhang Keke told NTD on the 12 June that the vice president
of the Bar Association told him the suspension was lifted.
Zhang Keke “They passed my assessment at 2 pm.
The hunger strike came to an end.
I appreciated the support and help from the director of our firm.
I am also thankful to the people of the society, my colleagues,
my media friends, and you.
I thank those who have helped and supported me either at the
scene, through the Internet, through all possible means.
This includes the hunger strike relay.”
There are 250,000 lawyers facing
the annual evaluation this year.
Lawyers and their firms are repressed through suspension of
their annual assessments for dealing with sensitive cases.
Wang Lan, activist: “What the CCP does to the lawyers says
its power is above the law and it suppresses the law.
The CCP insistence that lawyers follow law and principles
leads to their suppression.
This shows the authoritarian rule of the CCP.
The spirit of upholding rights by the lawyers ought to be
acknowledged.
We should definitely support their insistence on the
principles of law, morals and justice.
Should this authoritarian way continue,
In the past two years, many Chinese lawyers have been treated
unfairly by the public sector.
Realizing the dangers they are facing, Chinese lawyers have
recently jointly signed a mutual assistance group.
Law scholar Xu Xin has appealed online for a cancellation of
the annual assessment of lawyers and law firms.
The Epoch Times reported that Xu Xin said over 60 lawyers
have demanded the cancellation of the annual assessment,.
Ma Xiaoming, former Shaanxi TV reporter “There were not
as many assessments a decade or two ago.
More lawyers now dare to stand out and provide legal advice
to petitioners.
That shows the strength of the Chinese lawyers and their
increasing awareness of their legal and social responsibility.”
Guangdong lawyer Lu Hongbing said, “Lawyers are a highly
market-oriented industry.”
The Epoch Times said “Compared to civil servants and staff
hired by the state, lawyers are subject to the evaluation and
inspection by the market and the clients. The annual assessment
is not necessary.”
Ma Xiaoming “The rule of law and governing by law of the
CCP is only a slogan. In fact, it is very hypocritical.
There is no legal system in an authoritarian regime.
The law has become its tool.
When the law impedes the rule, the law becomes nothing.
The authoritarian CCP will not give up its grip on society.”
In recent years, there have been many more cases of Chinese
lawyers subject to suppression for behaving responsibly.
They are handling cases involving illegal arrest, detention
and sentencing of Falun Gong practitioners.
The Wuhan Bar Association suppressed Zhang Keke
for taking on Falun Gong cases.
Zhang believes the Bureau of Justice is behind this move.
