【新唐人2014年05月07日訊】萬警佩槍巡邏 廣州仍爆砍人事件
在有上萬名警察荷槍實彈上街巡邏的廣東廣州市，5月6號發生持刀砍人事件。
據報導，事件發生在廣州火車站，造成6人受傷，暫時沒有人死亡。廣州警方公布的消息說，行兇嫌疑人僅為1人，已經被警方開槍擊傷並控制。不過，現場目擊者說，持刀砍人者是4個頭戴小白帽的年輕人。
事件引起大陸民眾不安，紛紛表示對中共警方的保安能力不信任。
有人在網上說：「五一全市1.1萬警力輪番上路巡邏，執勤警察配槍，還發生這事？ 警察信不過，還是自己多注意安全吧！」
這是大陸兩個月內，發生的第三起火車站持刀砍人事件。
參加北京六四研討會 五人被刑拘
5月3號在北京參加「六四紀念研討會」的十幾名活動人士，目前已經有5人被北京警方刑事拘留，他們是大陸知名律師浦志強、北京電影學院教授郝建、異見人士胡石根和劉荻、學者徐友漁。
北京警方為浦志強出具的刑事拘留通知書顯示，他被指控的罪名是「尋釁滋事」。消息人士表示，其他被刑拘的幾人，罪名估計相同。大陸律師界對此極為不滿，認為警方在濫用「尋釁滋事」罪名。
《美國之音》報導，曾經為「四人幫」和江青辯護的中國著名大律師張思之表示，願意作為浦志強的律師，為浦志強提供辯護。
據了解，參加研討會的其他人，除了學者梁曉燕仍然沒有消息外，目前，其餘的人都已經獲釋回家。
維族學者伊力哈木女兒紐約替父領獎
美國筆會中心5月5號晚上在美國紐約舉行盛大頒獎典禮，中國被監禁的維族經濟學家及作家伊力哈木，獲得2014年度「芭芭拉•戈德史密斯自由寫作獎」。伊力哈 木的女兒伊力哈木•菊爾，目前就讀於美國「印第安納大學」，她出席頒獎大會替父親領獎。菊爾在會上表示，要為父親儘快出獄做一切努力。
「美國筆會」是一個國際性組織，成員遍佈100多個國家。獲得自由寫作獎的伊力哈木，因在網路上發表維護維吾爾族權利的言論，今年1月被捕，中共當局指控他涉嫌「分裂國家」。伊力哈木目前被關押在新疆，可能面臨10年至終身監禁的徒刑。

Even With Thousands of Armed Police Patrolling a Stabbing
Still Occurred in Guangzhou.
On May 6, a knife stabbing took place in Guangzhou despite
thousands of heavily armed police patrolling the streets.
Apparently the incident happened at the Guangzhou train
Station. Six people were injured.
Guangzhou police said there was only one suspect who had
been shot and wounded by police.
However, an eyewitness said that there should be four young
suspects with small white hats.
Mainland people are panicking and distrust
the security capabilities.
Some people said online: “11,000 armed police patrolled
on May Day but the incident still happened.
We have to count on ourselves not the police for our safety!"
This is the third railway station knife stabbing
incident in two months.
Five Participants of Beijing June 4 Seminar Arrested.
On May 3, from a dozen activists attending the Tiananmen
Memorial Seminar, five people were detained by Beijing police.
They are well-known mainland lawyer Pu Zhiqiang, Beijing
Film Academy professor Hao Jian, dissidents Hu Shigen and
Liu Di as well as scholar Xu Youyu.
Beijing police issued the detention notice for Pu Zhiqiang,
which showed that he was accused of causing trouble.
Sources said a few other people may have the same charges.
Mainland lawyers are extremely dissatisfied with the police
charges of causing trouble.
VOA said famous Chinese lawyer Zhang Sizhi who defended
the Gang of Four and Jiang Qing said he was willing to defend
Pu Zhiqiang.
It is said that other seminar participators were released as well
as academic Liang Xiaoyan with no information.
Uyghur Scholar Ilham’s Daughter Accepted the Award on
Behalf of Her Father.
On May 5, PEN American Center held a big awards
ceremony in New York.
Imprisoned China Uyghur economist and writer Ilham was
honored by the Barbara Goldsmith Freedom to Write Award.
Ilham’s daughter Ju Er who is currently studying at Indiana
University accepted the award on behalf of her father.
Ju Er said she will make every effort to get her father
out of jail as soon as possible.
PEN American Center is an international organization with
members over 100 countries.
Ilham was arrested in January on charges of secession for
publish remarks to maintain Uyghur rights
Ilham is held in Xinjiand and might face a sentence of
10 years to life imprisonment.
