【新唐人2014年02月27日訊】最近，中國有關霧霾的話題，又一次成為輿論關注的焦點，持續霧霾天氣再度席捲大陸，受影響的人口高達6億人。但就在民眾為終日籠罩在霧霾之下，而無比焦慮的同時，中共少將張召忠爆出驚人之語，說「霧霾是對美國激光武器的最好防禦」，引髮網友各式吐槽和炮轟，專家也對這個觀點啼笑皆非。
中共環保部2月23號通報，近日中東部地區大部分省份出現灰霾，影響面積約為143萬平方公里，約佔國土面積的15%，重霾面積約為81萬平方公里，主要集中在北京、河北、遼寧、山西、山東、河南等地，北京、天津、河北及周邊地區共20個城市發生重度以上污染。
中央氣象臺20號到24號連續5天發佈霾黃色預警。預測，這次霧霾要一直持續到2月27號才會結束。
北京市教師張先生：「北京一直霧霾都挺嚴重，不是說就這兩天。沒有哪天低於200（濃度）的，都是200以上。很難看到太陽這是事實。我相信天天會有人為這個事情而糾結。」
越來越多的中國民眾因為霧霾的侵襲而病倒。上海社科院發佈的藍皮書指出，北京的污染嚴重，已經接近不適合人類居住的程度。中國工程院院士鐘南山甚至警告，嚴重的空氣污染，危害比「非典」還嚴重。除了眾所周知的呼吸道疾病，霧霾的危害其實是多方面的，包括對神經系統、泌尿生殖系統、內分泌系統、心腦血管系統等造成傷害，更會危及子孫後代。
台灣大學大氣系教授陳正平：「主要吸進還是對器官跟肺泡、呼吸系統會有腐蝕的作用，那如果霧霾裡面還有一些重金屬成分的話，也會對內臟有影響，」
張先生：「因為我是學化學工程嘛，這個東西是對你基因產生一個影響，可能在下一代、或者再下一代。這就像當初，我們都稱倫敦為霧都，你看它幾年之後，它的後代繁衍出來，才會經常得哮喘病。」
美國《紐約時報》報導，由於空氣污染，中國北方人的預期壽命，平均比南方人少5.5年。也有調查發現，北京市近十年的肺癌患病率增加了60%。
台灣「清華大學核子工程與科學研究所」教授王竹方，研究的專長為環境科學、和空氣污染。
台灣清華大學核子工程與科學研究所教授王竹方：「如果只是一次兩次，但可能你過一段時間，人體有自己會修復的機制。可是如果說你在這個環境裡面常常這樣子的話，空氣污染比較嚴重的這種都會地區，通常來講，因為這種呼吸器官不好，而造成這種死亡率會增加。另外就是小孩子的話，氣喘、過敏機率就會很多。」
在大陸民眾身體健康甚至生命都受到了霧霾威脅的情況下，中共海軍少將張召忠竟在《央視》的採訪中聲稱， 「霧霾對激光武器是最好的防禦，激光武器最怕霧霾。」他還說﹕ 「PM2.5達到400、500、600的時候，對激光（雷射）武器的阻止最大了，根本穿透不了。」張召忠的這番話引來了網民的一片噓聲。
網民吐槽「霧霾也是攻擊人民身體健康的最好武器！美國的激光武器還沒打過來，霧霾已撂倒中國好幾千萬了。」 「難道中國要用霧霾來抵擋激光武器嗎？難不成中國人必須要永遠生活在霧霾中？」
科研專家也對張召忠的言論感到啼笑皆非。
王竹方：「是沒有錯，空氣中如果有這種霧啊，或者霧霾這樣形成的時候，那它會對鐳射，就是我們講的激光，就會造成它發散，可是我是覺得這個想法有點…有點…..我們不能因為這樣子，所以我們就用這個霧霾。你要讓激光不作用，或者喪失它的作用，其實有很多其他方法不需要霧霾嘛。」
也有網民諷刺的說：「煙霧彈將軍，我們總算是為霧霾找到合理藉口了！『海帶』防潛艇，霧霾防激光，高，實在是高！」

PLA Rear Admiral: Smog Best Shields U.S. Laser Weapons
Mainland China is once again cloaked by smog and
as many as 600 million Chinese have been affected.
While concern over the toxicity of smog is growing,
PLA Rear Admiral Zhang Zhaozhong commented,
“Smog is the best defense against U.S. laser weapons".
Criticisms hit the Internet, and experts shake their heads.
On Feb. 23, smog covered largely central and eastern China,
an estimated 1.43 million square kilometers, accounting for 15%
of mainland China.
Heavy smog swept 810,000 square kilometers, including
Beijing, Hebei, Liaoning, Shanxi, Shandong, and Henan.
Severe pollution is reported in 20 cities, including Beijing and
Tianjin, according to the Chinese environmental bureau.
The Central Meteorological Station has issued the “yellow" smog
alert for 5 days since the 20th and it is anticipated
the pollution will last till the 27th.
Mr. Zhang, a Beijing Teacher: “The smog has been serious in
Beijing. It’s not just for the past two days.
The pollution has been measured at 200 the minimum.
You can barely see the sun for a fact.
I am sure it has troubled many of us everyday."
Many more Chinese have been ill because of the smog.
According to the Blue Book of World Cities (2014) published
by the Shanghai Academy of Social Sciences, Beijing is on the
verge of being “unfavorable for human living".
Professor of the Chinese Academy of Engineering Zhong Nanshan
has warned the severity of air pollution outweighs that of SARS.
It is detrimental to the respiratory, the nervous, the genitourinary,
the endocrine,and the cardiovascular systems, as well as to future
generations.
Professor JP Chen, Atmospheric Sciences, National Taiwan
University: “The particles we breathe in are corrosive to the
alveoli and the respiratory system.
The heavy metals in the smog will hurt the internal organs."
Mr. Zhang: “I studied chemical engineering. The pollutants
affect the genes, which carry it over to our next generations.
It is like in London, famous for its fog. The younger generations
in London tend to develop asthma."
The New York Times had reported earlier that studies showed
life expectancies are about 5.5 years lower in the north owing
to an increased incidence of cardiorespiratory mortality.
There are also studies showing that Beijing has seen lung
cancer rates go up 60 percent in the last 10 years.
Professor Chu-Fang Wang from the Institute of Nuclear
Engineering and Science, National Tsinghua University,
is a specialist in environmental science and air pollution.
Professor Chu-Fang Wang: “Once or twice exposure could be
taken care of after a while by our repair mechanism in the body.
But, for a prolonged exposure, such as in the metropolitan area
with heavy pollution, the respiratory system is generally
affected and mortality is likely to go up.
To the young child, there’ll be higher rates of asthma and allergy."
With health hazards and potentially life threatening smog,
Rear Admiral Zhang Zhaozhong claimed in an interview with
the state media, CCTV, “Smog is the best defense against
laser weapons. Laser weapons are mostly deterred by the smog."
He added: “Measures of PM2.5 at above 400 have the best
resistance to laser weapons. They can’t penetrate."
Zhang Zhaozhong’s remarks quickly earned publicity on the Internet.
One netizen responded, “Smog is the best weapon against
health, too.
Before the U.S. laser weapons hit, smog has killed tens of
millions of Chinese."
“Will China employ smog to shield the laser weapons?
Does it imply that Chinese should live in the smog forever?"
Scientists are amused by Zhang Zhaozhong’s remarks.
Professor Chu-Fang Wang: “It is true that fog and smog can
divert the laser.
But, I just feel this theory is a little…somewhat…we can’t just
use the smog for defense.
There are other means to disable the laser, but not smog."
A netizen mocked: General Smoke Bomb, we have finally
found a legitimate excuse for the smog!
