【新唐人2013年12月17日訊】從12月起，中南海開始通過非官方的管道，在海外釋放「周永康被抓捕」的消息。包括《路透社》在內的西方主流媒體，也都陸續跟進報導﹕前中共中央政治局常委、政法委書記周永康目前已被軟禁。相關的傳言滿天飛，唯獨不見中共官方出面闢謠？現在外界都在觀望，習近平將如何處理周永康？媒體透露，「（周涉案）內幕超過外界想像」。
據美國《大紀元》新聞網獨家報導，周永康被抓的消息，中共高層全部都知道，只是沒有對外正式宣佈。目前，「周永康案」的焦點，在於中共最高層會在甚麼時間、用甚麼方式來公布他的罪宗﹖以及「周永康案」將要波及的範圍﹗
報導指出，周永康的問題，直接涉及中共前政治局常委江澤民、曾慶紅和羅幹，目前中共最高層爭論的焦點在於﹕如何將這三人與周永康切割處理。
據了解，周永康自1999年出任中共四川省委書記開始，直接參與並推動對法輪功學員的迫害，因此博得了前總書記江澤民的歡心。從此，沒有半點政法經驗的周永康，通過時任中共組織部長曾慶紅的運作，從地方邁入中央，進入政法系統。2002年至2007年，周出任中共中央政法委副書記，公安部部長、黨委書記，武警部隊第一政委等職務。
2007年的「十七大」，曾慶紅退下，江澤民和曾慶紅為確保江派在常委會中擁有大多數席位，而極力把周永康塞入常委。
《大紀元》分析，江澤民和曾慶紅，夥同周永康和薄熙來，密謀在「十八大」後，先由薄熙來接手周永康的政法委書記，再聯手「政變」，奪下習近平的權力，但計劃實施到一半，因為「王立軍闖入美領館」而功虧一簣。薄熙來因此而倒臺，周永康也因此傳出被抓捕。
《法國國際廣播電臺》15號報導說，據「接近中南海核心圈子」的消息人士透露，一項非正式調查顯示，將周永康軟禁的決定，獲得中共中央委員會委員近100%的支持率。
消息指出，周永康的貪腐問題基本已經查清，將進入「收尾階段」，其中所涉及的金錢與人員的規模，據傳為中共建政以來最大貪腐案件。
周永康被整肅，外界普遍認為是中共在「反腐」方面的部署，要打大老虎給國人看。但民運人士王丹表示：「那就太小看中國共產黨了」。
去年「十八大」召開前夕，西方主流媒體接二連三爆出﹕時任國務院總理的溫家寶，和準備接班的習近平，這兩家人以權謀私、積蓄巨額財富等消息。王丹試問：在當今中國，誰有那個膽子和能量，敢把溫家寶和習近平的家族金錢狀況，調查得如此一清二楚，然後寫成材料，交給西方媒體？王丹認為：「只有周永康和薄熙來這一對政治盟友，具備這樣的能量、動機和膽量。」
王丹撰文分析，如今已在上位的習近平是不會放過周永康的，至於如何懲治周永康，當然是要找個冠冕堂皇的理由，那就是「腐敗」。
近期，除周永康之外，另一名前政治局委員、中央軍委前副主席徐才厚也已被「雙規」。
根據香港《蘋果日報》報導，現年70歲的徐才厚被雙規的直接誘因，是徐才厚捲入了周永康的「政變密謀」。
而《大紀元》透露，曾慶紅不僅是江澤民時期的「大內總管」，同時還掌控了中共的國安特務機構，在海外，特務機構一直充當了迫害法輪功的急先鋒。如今，江澤民集團迫害法輪功的「血債幫」中，薄熙來已成為階下囚，周永康被抓，而背後的曾慶紅與江澤民也難逃法網，最終都將接受審判。

Net Closes on Zhou Yongkang.
This month, information on the arrest of Zhou Yongkang
has been unofficially released through overseas media.
Mainstream media, including Reuters, are also gradually
following up reports that Zhou is under house arrest.
Zhou is a former member of the Politburo Standing
Committee and Secretary of Politics and Law Committee.
Rumors have been circulating, but no
Chinese officials have denied them.
International observers are now waiting to see
how Xi Jinping will handle Zhou Yongkang.
Media have reported that what is involved in Zhou’s case
is more complicated than what was initially imagined.
According to US-based The Epoch Times senior
levels of the Chinese Communist Party (CCP)
all know that Zhou Yongkang has been arrested.
This has not been officially announced.
Currently, the focus on Zhou’s case is when and how
senior levels of the CCP will announce charges against him.
It is reported that Zhou Yongkang’s case is directly
related to the former leader Jiang Zemin, and
Politburo members Zeng Qinghong and Luo Gan.
The current debate surrounds how to deal with
these three people separately from Zhou Yongkang.
Zhou Yongkang has directly participated in facilitating
the persecution on Falun Gong practitioners since 1999.
This was when he was Secretary of Sichuan
Province Party Committee, winning the favour
of then General Secretary Jiang Zemin.
Subsequently, Zhou Yongkang was promoted from a
local to central level in the political and legal system.
This move was undertaken by Zeng Qinghong, even
though Zhou didn’t have any political or legal experience.
Between 2002 and 2007, Zhou served as the
Deputy Secretary of the CPC Central Committee.
He also served as Minister of Public Security,
Party secretary, first political commissar of the
Armed Police Force and also held other duties.
Zeng Qinghong retired in 2007 at the 17th Congress.
Jiang Zemin and Zeng Qinghong wanted to ensure Jiang’s
faction had the majority of seats in the Standing Committee.
They promoted Zhou Yongkang into the Standing Committee.
The Epoch Times reports that Jiang Zemin, Zeng Qinghong,
Zhou Yongkang and Bo Xilai conspired to allow Bo Xilai
to take over Zhou’s position after the 18th Congress.
They planned a military coup to
overthrow Xi Jinping, and win power.
The plan failed, in part because Wang Lijun fled
to the U.S. Consulate in Chengdu to seek asylum.
This resulted in Bo Xilai’s downfall and
has led to Zhou Yongkang’s arrest.
On December 15, Radio France Internationale
quoted sources from Zhongnanhai’s inner circle.
The approval for Zhou Yongkang’s house arrest was
almost unanimous among the CPC Central Committee.
This was according to an unofficial survey.
Sources suggested Zhou Yongkang’s corruption
has been in the final step, and almost cleared.
The scale of money and persons involved is thought to be the
largest corruption case since the establishment of CCP regime.
Getting rid of Zhou Yongkang is widely believed to be
what was termed fighting the big tiger for anti-corruption.
Democracy activist Wang Dan said it
underestimated the Chinese Communist Party.
Last year, on the eve of 18th Congress, mainstream western
media continuously released information about the two
families of Premier Wen Jiabao and successor Xi Jinping.
It was alleged that they had accumulated
wealth through abuse of power.
Wang Dan raised the point of who dared to investigate the
financial situation of Wen Jiabao and Xi Jinping’s family?
Who would so clearly document this,
and provide it to western media?
Wang Dan believes that only the political allies of Zhou
Yongkang and Bo Xilai have such energy, and motivation.
Wang Dan analyzed in documents that Xi Jinping will
not accept Zhou Yongkang since he is already in power.
As for how to punish Zhou Yongkang,
corruption is the high-sounding reason.
Recently, in addition to Zhou Yongkang, another former
Politburo member has been detained for interrogation.
This is former Vice Chairman of the
Central Military Commission Xu Caihou.
According to Hong Kong’s Apple Daily, the reason for the
detention and interrogation of 70 year old Xu Caihou is his
involvement in the military coup plot with Zhou Yongkang.
The Epoch Times revealed Zeng Qinghong was not only the
number one confidant of Jiang Zemin during his time of rule.
He was also in charge of the national secret
service organization, which has been acting as
the vanguard of the persecution of Falun Gong.
Today, those in Jiang’s faction involved in persecuting
Falun Gong are sequentially being removed.
Bo Xilai is imprisoned, Zhou Yongkang is under arrest, and
Jiang Zemin and Zeng Qinghong will eventually stand trial.
