英國《天空衛視》駐北京記者馬克•史東和他的一名攝影師，在天安門被中共警方逮捕。
據「英國廣播公司」《BBC》中文網報導，他們被帶上一輛警車時，兩人正在做直播報導，一路上攝影並未停機，馬克•史東以旁白的方式，描述到公安局的沿路情況。
《天空衛視》新聞部說，他們事先就已經取得了所需的攝影許可證。
兩人隨後獲釋，北京警方聲稱，逮捕他們是因為他們沒有按照規定佩戴媒體記者證。
英媒：中共領導人下臺後幹甚麼？
《BBC》中文網3月15號發表署名文章，分析中共領導人卸任後的行為。
文章說，通常世界各國的政治領袖下臺後，會去從事慈善工作或者外交工作，但是在中國卻有一條潛規則，最高領導人在下臺後應該走出公眾的視野。
不過，事實是，中共下臺高官往往在幕後插手時政。文章作者說，人們最不滿意的是江澤民。江澤民曾保證自己退休後只去大學講課，但事實上他下臺後在幕後到處插手中國的最高政務。
文章指出，86歲的江澤民去年特別忙，抓緊最後一次機會，在「十八大」上，幕後為最高領導層的人選向各方施加壓力。他自己在中南海的辦公室也是直到去年才關閉。
一些分析人士認為，中共領導人不肯放棄插手政務的主要原因，是怕自己一旦放手，就會有人追究他們在任時的劣跡。
廣州上千村民抗議村官 堵路三日
廣州荔灣區蟠龍村上千村民，連續三天堵塞龍溪大道，抗議村幹部私下用土地抵押貸款，使全村負債達七億。
堵路事件導致廣州往佛山交通陷入癱瘓。3月13號晚上，村民遭到400百警察的驅散，一些村民與警方發生衝突，有村民受傷。

Reporters Of British Sky Broadcasting (BSkyB) Arrested At Tiananmen Square.
Mark Stone, a reporter as well as a photographer for BSkyB in
Beijing, were arrested by Chinese police in Tiananmen Square.
According to BBC Chinese network report, when they were
filming live, they were taken and put inside a police car.
They didn’t stop taking photos while in the police car.
With narration, Mark Stone described the case to the
Public Security Bureau.
News department of Sky Broadcasting said the two reporters
had got a license to take photographs.
Shortly after that, they were let go.
Beijing police claimed they didn’t wear media reporters
licenses in accordance with the rules.
British Media: What Chinese Leaders Did After Retirement.
On March 15th, BBC Chinese network issued Signed-name
article analyzing the actions of Chinese retired leaders.
The article said, usually, after political leaders of the countries
in the world retire, they will take on charity or diplomatic work.
However, in China, the retired top leader should immediately
vanish from the public view.
However, in fact, the Chinese Communist Party (CCP) retired
top leaders often interfered in politics behind the scenes.
The article said people are most dissatisfied with Jiang Zemin.
Jiang guaranteed he would go to university to teach after
he retired.
In fact, after he retired, what he did was to interfere in the
highest levels of Chinese politics behind the scenes.
The article pointed out, last year,
86-year-old Jiang was very busy.
He hurried to exert pressure on different political groups
for next session top leader candidates.
His office in Zhongnanhai was closed the whole time.
Some analysts thought the reason that retired leaders
don’t give up their influence for fear of investigation.
Someone might investigate their misdeeds which
occurred when they had power.
Guangzhou: Villagers Protested To Village Officers;
The Road Was Blocked For Three Days.
Panlong village, Liwan district, Guangzhou city, over 1000
villagers blocked Longxi road to protest to the village officers.
The officers privately got loans with village land making the
village in debt by 700.000.000 RMB.
The case led to traffic jams from Guangzhou to Foshan.
On March 13th, villagers were forced to disperse by 400 police.
Some villagers had conflicts with police and were injured.
