曾在中國大陸多個省份持槍搶劫殺人的嫌犯周克華，中共當局8月14號宣稱已經遭到警方擊斃，但大陸網友廣泛提出質疑，有網友通過分析警方公布的照片發現，警方打死的不是被通緝的周克華，而是長沙警察方斌，引起網絡轟動。
中共警方迅速否認，在官方微博上說，長沙市公安局並無「方斌」此人。
但是，8月20號一位署名「大鵬看天下」報社記者，卻在《湖南日報》2011年10月14號刊登的「證件作廢」欄中，找到了「方斌遺失警官證，號碼為：湘字第1804428」的信息。證實長沙公安確實有一位叫做「方斌」的警察。
同一天，還有知情人士在網上透露：「方斌絕對是真的，如今已失蹤，全家被軟禁。」
廣西又出「爆頭案」 周克華再現？
蹊蹺的是，在周克華被擊斃2天後，重慶歌樂山開始封山，重慶警察也手持周克華的照片到居民區挨家挨戶搜查。儘管警方聲稱封山是為了防火，但從公開的照片來看，大批所謂防火隊員都手持衝鋒槍，全副武裝。
而8月19號，《廣西新聞網》也發出消息說，廣西南寧又發生一起「爆頭案」。報導說，19號凌晨，在南寧市發生槍擊案 ，一名身穿紅色衣服的男子頭部中彈身亡。
這個消息，令大陸網友對周克華被擊斃的說法更加懷疑，很多人擔心是「周克華再現」。
美媒：薄瓜瓜證詞與谷開來陳述矛盾
8月20號，安徽省合肥市中級法院宣判谷開來殺人案結果，但是，質疑之聲仍然不斷。
《華盛頓郵報》引述知情人的話透露，薄瓜瓜在給法庭的證詞當中，強調他近年來都沒有和海伍德見面，也沒有和他有任何合作。薄瓜瓜的證詞跟中共官方公布的信息互相矛盾。法庭沒有採納薄瓜瓜證詞，似乎是故意忽略這份證詞。
知情人士還透露，中共為了摀住反對聲音和終結這個高度敏感案件，而告訴谷開來家人，只要他們不提起上訴，他們將被允許在20天之內見到她。
而香港《南華早報》北京分社社長黃忠清則對BBC記者說，中共對這個案件的宣判只是一個政治決定，不是一個司法判決。
不過，隨著谷案的結束，人們的注意力開始集中到：看中共如何對付谷開來的丈夫薄熙來。

Was Dead Zhou Kehua Really Fang Bin?
The China authority announced on Aug 14th that Zhou Kehua,
suspected as a serial killer and armed robber in several
provinces in China was shot dead by police.
Netizens widely questioned this after finding that Zhou’s
photo released by police wasn’t Zhou himself,
but a police officer from Changsha called Fang Bin.
It drew netizens attention and discussion.
The police soon denied this and posted an official microblog:
no one called Fang Bin at Changsha police station.
However, on Aug 20th , a newspaper reporter found a clue
in a Hunan Daily newspaper issued in Oct 14th , 2011.
In a lost property announcement column, was written:
Fang Bin lost police ID card, No.1804428.
It proved that there was a police called Fang Bin
at Changsha police station.
On Aug 20th , another insider revealed online: Fang Bin truly
existed but is missing. His family are under house arrest.
Gun Shot Incident Occured in Guangxin Province,
Was It Zhou Kehua Again?
It was strange that Gele Mountain in Chongqing
was blocked two days after Zhou was shot dead.
The police searched the residential area door by door
holding Zhou Kehua’s photo to show the occupants.
The police claimed that blocking the mountain
was for fire protection.
However, according to photos released, the so-called
fire fighters were armed with submachine guns.
On August 19th , Guangxi News online reported that
a gun shot incident happened in Nanning, Guangxin.
The report said that on early morning of Aug 19th,
a man in red cloth was shot dead through the head.
Netizens raised more questions after this news, many people
were worried that it was Zhou who came back again.
US media: Bo Guagua’s Testimony conflict with Gu Kailai
On Aug 20th , the court in Hefei in Anhui province gave a
suspended death sentence to Gu Kailai.
However, people continue to question the truth of the case.
The Washington Post cited an insider saying Bo Guagua’s
testimony to the court attesting he didn’t meet Heywood
and didn’t engage in anything with Heywood in recent years.
Bo Guagua’s testimony has conflicts with
China’s official announcement.
The court didn’t use Bo Guagua’s testimony,
it seems they deliberately ignored his testimony.
An insider also revealed that in order to silence the voice of
opposition and to end this high-profile trial,
the Chinese Communist Party (CCP) told Gu’s family that
as long as they didn’t appeal, they would be allowed to see Gu within 20 days.
Huang Zhongqing, a Beijing branch director of Hong Kong’s
South China Morning Post, told the BBC that
the CCP dealt with this case as a political decision,
not a verdict in law.
With the end of Gu’s trial, people’s attention is focused on
how the CCP dealt with Gu Kailai’s husband, Bo Xilai.
