Allotments for households in the 48 contiguous states and the District of Columbia.
The amount of benefits the household gets is called an allotment. The net monthly income of the household is multiplied by .3, and the result is subtracted from the maximum allotment for the household size to find the households allotment. This is because SNAP households are expected to spend about 30 percent of their resources on food.

我們可以從中看出什麼？在美國，對於低收入的人群，政府的食物補貼足夠他們過上溫飽生活，而在中國，政府對低收入人群的補貼太少，太少。而三公消費又太多太多。
