Traffic restrictions were in place by 7:00 p.m. local time as residents poured into the area for the best view of the fireworks.
因為大批居民們湧入尋找最佳觀看煙火的位置,當地時間晚間7:00前,晚會現場週圍就實施交通管制。
The crowd counted down the final seconds of 2009, as fireworks shot out from the eight corridors around Taipei 101, the world’s tallest building.
群眾倒數2009年的最後時刻,然後煙火從世界最高大樓台北101的八處走廊射出。
The 220 thousand shot display was spent in just over 3 minutes and cost about 1 million U.S. dollars.
