Today’s top story… it was a night of glitz and glamour on the red carpet in Hollywood. The 81st annual Academy Awards were held at the Kodak Theatre on Hollywood Boulevard. And this year’s top winning film didn’t have any Hollywood heavyweights staring in it… but made a lasting impression on the Academy nonetheless.

“Slumdog Millionaire" the rags to riches tale about a boy from India’s slums who goes on a game show to find his lost love, cleaned up at this year’s academy awards.

The movie taking out best film, director, cinematography, original song, sound mixing and film editing.
