Chinese Civil Rights Watcher Report: China’s Worst Human

Rights Situation in Two Decades

On Feb.16, Civil Rights and Livelihood Watch (msguancha)

released the 2014 Year-end Report on the Chinese

Communist Party (CCP) Stability Maintenance Policy and

Human Rights Condition.

The report said, the CCP still regards all Chinese civilians’

efforts in improving social order as “unstable factors" that

threaten the regime, and so it continues to suppress

such efforts in all aspects.

The CCP violently abducted many human rights lawyers,

scholars, journalists and other dissidents all over the state.

About 2270 individuals were under surveillance for

“stability control" in the past year.

China’s human rights condition has seen the worst

regression in the past 20 years.

The report concluded that, China is entering a tightened

“safety maintenance" era.

Previously it was a “stability maintenance" one.

Suicide Attack Killed Eight Police Officers.

Dozens Injured in Hotan, Xinjiang

On Feb.13, a suicide attack occurred in Pishan County,

Hotan Prefecture, Xinjiang Province.

A young Uyghur man detonated bombs on himself after

holding onto a police officer.

Eight officers were killed and 30 others were injured.

The incident was first reported on the Internet.

Several local sources later confirmed with Radio Free Asia

about the incident.

A shopkeeper said the entire town is currently under military

guard; all entrances and exits guarded by police.

The World Uyghur Congress spokesman Dilshat Reshit said

the overseas Uyghurs had also heard of the incident.

The causality toll is unknown due to the Chinese Communist

Party (CCP) information blockade, said Dilshat Reshit.

Mass Demonstrations Seeking Unpaid Wages in China

Chinese people are returning home for the forthcoming

Chinese New Year.

However, many farmers are not able to return home as

their wages for a full year of hard work are unpaid.

Many of them protested or demonstrated recently.

On Feb.15, 200 construction workers in Qianjiang City,

Hubei Province, protested in front of the municipal

government building due to several months of wages

not being paid.

They demanded the Chinese Communist Party (CCP)

government help retrieve their unpaid wages.

However, the CCP officials dispatched over 200 police

to disperse the crowds.

On Feb.14, hundreds of farm workers blocked roads in

Mianyang City, Sichuan Province.

The incident occurred after the workers failed to get back

their wages from the employer after days of negotiation.

Two protesters were arrested by police.

The same day, 70 workers in Zigong City, Sichuan also

demonstrated in front of the government for unpaid wages.
