12月25號是西方社會的重要節日——聖誕節，這個基督教節日在中國民間也一直很流行，不過，今年，在中國一些地區，中共當局卻提前發出禁令，禁止這些地區的學校和學生舉行慶祝活動。
據大陸媒體報導，西安西北大學24號封校，禁止學生過平安夜，聲稱誰過聖誕節就要處分誰。
美國《自由亞洲電臺》也報導說，在中國基督教最興盛的城市——浙江溫州，當地教育局在聖誕節前夕發出通知，禁止中小學、幼兒園舉行聖誕慶祝活動。
《自由亞洲電臺》說，有大陸基督教徒認為，這是中共進行進一步迫害基督教的行為。
報導引述北京基督徒徐永海的話說，最近一年來，基督教的空間不斷縮小，從浙江拆十字架到現在不允許在校學生過聖誕，令人擔憂極左思想開始蔓延。
在此之前，中共當局強拆了當地的數百座教堂十字架。
女教徒傳福音 被送精神病院
另外，遼寧省大連市家庭教會成員周金霞，也因為聖誕節當天到北京中南海附近，舉牌向中國黨魁習近平、彭麗媛夫婦傳遞福音，被警察拘捕，並送往精神病院檢查。
港人聖誕流動獻唱 籲勿忘初衷
而在香港，民間團體則在聖誕節再次舉辦活動，希望提醒港人勿忘初衷，繼續雨傘運動爭取真普選的訴求。
據香港《蘋果日報》報導，香港「文化監暴」和「學聯」等團體，當天舉辦《黃色聖誕音樂串流》活動，歌手何韻詩、黃耀明等10多人，在港九各區進行流動獻唱，吸引很多民眾圍觀，有人還撐黃傘，高呼「我要真普選」響應。
獻唱團隊傍晚抵達終點中大百萬大道，舉行黃色聖誕「回到初衷」音樂會，數百人冒著雨撐傘出席。參加者表示，希望通過活動，重新凝聚佔領運動的力量。

Cowardly CCP Bans Christmas Celebrations – Marxism on the Rise
December 25, Christmas Day, is one of the most
important holidays.
Christmas has also become popular among Chinese.
However, this year the festival is banned in some
parts of China.
The Chinese Communist Party (CCP) issued orders to
prohibit schools and students in those places
from celebrating Christmas.
Chinese media reported that, Modern College of Northwest
University closed its campus on Dec. 24, so as to
ban students from celebrating on Christmas Eve.
The college threatened that, those making celebrations
would be punished.
Radio Free Asia (RFA) also reported the situation
in Wenzhou, the city where Christianity is most popular
in mainland China.
The city’s education bureau released an order banning primary
and middle schools from celebrating Christmas.
RFA said that, some Chinese Christians regarded the ban as
a further step in suppressing Christians by the CCP.
The report quoted Xu Yonghai, a Christian living in Beijing.
Xu said that, the freedoms left for Chinese Christians
have been seriously squeezed.
From removing crosses from churches in Zhejiang to
banning students from celebrating Christmas,
extreme Marxism seems to be spreading in China.
Around Wenzhou, hundreds of churches have been
forcibly demolished by the CCP.
Female Christians Sent to Mental Hospital for Evangelization
In addition, Zhou Jinxia, a member of China House Church
living in Dalian, Liaoning Province;
she went to Zhongnanhai and held up slogans hoping to evangelize
Xi Jinping and his wife Peng Liyuan.
Zhou was later arrested by police and sent to a mental hospital.
Hong Kong Civil Groups Held Christmas Live
to Remind People of their “Original Will”
In Hong Kong, civil groups also gathered on Christmas,
as a reminder to Hong Kong people about their primary goal
of seeking a general election, in the umbrella movement.
An Apple Daily report said, Cultural Watch Against Violence,
Scholarism and other groups held an event named
“Yellow Christmas Medley”.
More than 10 singers, including Denise Ho and
Anthony Wong, performed while touring the city.
Some audiences shouted “I Want General Election”
at the event, while holding yellow umbrellas in hand.
In the evening, the singing group reached their destination,
the University Mall, and held a: “Find Our Original Will” live.
Hundreds attended, holding umbrellas in the rain.
Some audiences said, they hoped to reunite the civil power of
the Occupy movement through the event.
