5月20号，新疆再次爆发警方枪杀维族民众事件，据《自由亚洲电台》报导，阿克苏地区库车县的数百名维族人，不满当局拘留戴头巾的妇女及中学生，当天到镇政府示威游行，遭到当局派出的特警镇压。
目击者说，特警到场后，胡乱开枪，造成最少4人死亡，多人受伤，警方还拘留了数十名示威者。
事后，中共官方封锁消息，并在当地加强监控手机和互联网，严禁民众传播相关信息。
亚信峰会闭幕 上海严控未解
四年一次的“亚洲相互协作与信任措施会议”（亚信峰会），一连两天在上海举行，整个上海风声鹤唳，21号，会议闭幕后，上海警方对维权访民、异议人士严密控制，依然没有解除。
据《自由亚洲电台》报导，上海访民沈佩兰、蔡培奋等21号当天都被警方传唤，警告不得外出走动，而马亚莲则被警方带走，周三仍无消息。
有被软禁的访民表示，面对连番恐怖袭击和访民人数增加，中共现在犹如惊弓之鸟，在国际会议召开之时，想方设法粉饰太平。
中共巡视组到贵州 数百警护卫
据大陆《六四天网》20号报导，中共巡视组5月12号到贵州关岭县巡视，当地派出600警察守护他们下榻的酒店，县委书记和县长亲自到酒店外做保安。
13号，当地大批访民闻风涌到酒店外，要求会见巡视组伸冤，遭到警察殴打，18人被打伤，其中7人重伤。目前伤者仍在医院治疗，而医院一直有警察和便衣严密看守，禁止外人看护，伤者情况外界无法得知。
20号，贵州省长赵克志也到达关岭县，当局派出的警力增到上千人，当地访民则被严控或抓捕。

Shooting Into The Crowd; Four Uygur Deaths, Dozens Injured.
On May 20, police killed Uyghurs publicly in Xinjiang again.
According to Radio Free Asia report, hundreds of Uyghurs
demonstrated at the front of the county building against the
detention of a woman with a headscarf and were suppressed
by the special police in Kuqa county of Aksu prefecture.
The witnesses said the special police fired indiscriminately,
leaving at least four dead, many injured, and dozens detained.
Later, the authorities blocked news and strengthened
monitoring of cell phones and the local Internet to prevent
information being released into the public.
Shanghai Summit Ends But Restricted Control Continues.
The Quadrennial Conference on Interaction and Confidence-
Building Measures in Asia (CICA) is held in Shanghai over
two days making Shanghai officials paranoid of petitioning.
On May 21, the Shanghai police didn’t release strict control
of petitioners and dissidents even after the CICA ended.
According to a Radio Free Asia report, Shanghai petitioners
Shen Peilan, Cai Peifen, Ma Yalian and others were summoned
and warned not to go on the streets by police on May 21.
Ma Yalian was taken away by police with no information
heard until Wednesday.
A person under house arrest said the Chinese Communist
Party (CCP) is more like a child trying to paper over the
cracks during the international meeting in face of repeated
terrorist attacks and the increasing numbers of petitioners.
Hundreds of Police Escorted The CCP Inspection
Team in Guizhou
On May 20 mainland 64 Skynet reported that the CCP
inspection teams arrived at Guizhou, Guanling County
on May 12 and were guarded by 600 local police at the hotel.
The county secretary and the county magistrate were also
under guard at the hotel.
On May 13, a large number of people requested a meeting with
the inspection team to petition them.
They were beaten by the police, with seven people
seriously wounded out of the18 injured.
Currently, the injured are still in hospital and watched over by
police and plainclothes officers to prohibit outsiders getting in.
Nobody knows the state of those wounded.
On May 20, Guizhou Governor Zhao Kezhi arrived
at Guanling County.
The local authorities dispatched thousands of police to
strictly control and arrest the local petitioners.
