A huge fire at a shopping mall in China’s northern city of Tianjin on June 30th claimed ten lives, according to the official death toll.
據官方發布的死亡總數,6月30日中國北方都市天津購物中心的一場大火,奪走了10條人命。
But many Netizens have expressed disbelief at this figure. They say it’s much higher.
Some have been collecting lists of those who died. Their number has reached 58 so far.
但許多網民表達不相信這個數字,他們說還要更高的多。有些人收集死者的名單,他們的死亡總數到目前為止已達到58人。
The Epoch Times reported the scene of the fire has been heavily guarded—from the burnt out shopping mall, all the way to the local crematorium.
大紀元時報報導,火災現場─從燒光的購物中心,一路到當地的火葬場─都已受到重重警戒。
Tianjin residents warned passersby not to be conspicuous when asking about the fire, otherwise plainclothes police would arrest them.
天津居民警告路人,詢問有關這場火災不要太明顯,否則便依警察將會逮捕他們。
Other locals are frightened and refuse to give details about the fire. Informed sources told the Epoch Times that a number of people have been arrested for talking about it, and the victims’ families are under surveillance.
其他當地人很恐懼,拒絕透露關於火災的細節。消息來源告訴大紀元時報,一些人已因談論這場大火而被捕,而且受害者的家屬也受到監控。
Ji County detention center has become overcrowded with the number arrested, so police have begun taking detainees to Tianjin City.
隨著被捕人數增加,蓟縣拘留中心已經過度擁擠,所以警方開始帶被拘禁者到天津市。
Some mainland journalists have also been arrested or threatened in their attempts to uncover the facts.
一些大陸新聞記者企圖揭發事實真相,也被捕或是受到威脅。
