Zhen Zhu revealed some detail of rescuing Chen Guangcheng
He Peirong, the heroine who helped Chen Guangcheng
escape house arrest, was finally sent back home on May 4th.
The next day, she revealed some inside stories during the
rescue when interviewed by non-Chinese media.
But He said for the safety of rescuers, she couldn’t say more
on the different roles they used cooperating on the plan.
Analyst remarked that He Peirong’s concern was reasonable
given that Chinese human rights activists were still under
severe persecution in the red horror produced by the Political
and Legislative Affairs Committee (PLAC).
The 40-year-old He Peirong’s online nickname is “Zhen Zhu”.
She was honored as “Jinling’s woman knight” as she tried to
visit Chen Guangcheng six times in 2011.
She was detained by Nanjing police for seven days after Chen
Guangcheng entered the U.S. embassy and released May 4th.
The same afternoon she wrote a message on her twitter,
which said “I am at home. Everything is fine. Thank you all.”
On May 5th, in her interview by the VOA, Zhen Zhu said that
Chen Guangcheng didn’t get help from a conscientious guard.
Despite the rumors he completely escaped Dongshigu village
by himself.
Zhen Zhu revealed that the rescue had been planned for
nearly one year.
She said although there were troubles such as tire blowout,
going wrong way and missing the rescue target,
it was still unbelievably smooth for her to successfully pick up
Chen Guangcheng whose feet were injured at the time.
Zhen Zhu believed that Chen Guangcheng’s will power helped
get him through the seventeen hours he spent in the wild.
(Zhen Zhu) says: ”I don’t think there were any thrilling scenes.
But as you might assume, we have made a lot of preparation
for the worst cases we can imagine.
None of them were needed. The whole process was smooth,
including dealing with every unexpected accident or mistake.”
Zhen Zhu also denied the online rumor which said she had
disguised as a courier and driven a van in the rescue.
But she said that she couldn’t provide more details for now
concerning the safety of human right activists from Beijing and Shandong.
Zhen Zhu promised to announce these details
publicly when the time is right.
China problem researcher He Anquan expressed his respect
for Zhen Zhu’s brave move.
He said he could fully understand her worries in revealing
more details.
(He Anquan) says: ”There has yet to be any changes in China
ever since Wang Lijun and Chen Guangcheng incidents.
The Chinese Communist Party (CCP) is still suppressing
Chinese citizens,
especially dissidents such as democrats and human
rights activists. The persecution of these groups is still there.”
According to Zhen Zhu, after Chen’s successful escape they
heard armed police had entered Dongshigu village.
She felt that the situation became serious as this confirmed
the involvement of high-level CCP officials from Beijing.
Consequently, Zhen Zhu announced Chen’s escape on her
twitter and calling for attention to his safety.
She also announced that she was prepared to be arrested
and would not hide herself.
Shortly after that, Zhen Zhu was taken away by the Nanjing
police.
President of West Coast Chapter of the Chinese Political
Refugee Association, Mo Fengjie remarked that
the Chen Guangcheng incident had given the Chinese
a real feeling of PLAC’s red horror in China;
The CCP’s animosity towards the Chinese people was also
clearly demonstrated.
As the head of PLAC with numerous funds for maintenance of
stability available, Zhou Yongkang is the black hand behind this.
Mo Fengjie says: ”The evilness of Zhou Yongkong should be
specifically exposed.
Earlier, his son Zhou Bin was exposed of grabbing tens of
billions of Yuan from corruption.
Not to mention Zhou himself is a complete gangster full
of debauchery with no shame.”
Mo Fengjie said that the pro-democracy activists would
consistently pay close attention to Zhen Zhu and other rescuers;
if they were persecuted by the CCP, they would
express support without reserve.
