Facebook

CCP Lieutenant General Sacked–Liu Yuan’s First Axe

As the Chinese Communist Party (CCP)’s 18th congress

draws near, its internal fighting has also spread to the army.

General Liu Yuan, the son of former CCP leader Liu Shaoqi,

openly addressed fighting against military corruption.

And from the General Logistics Department—a chief organ

of the CCP People’s Liberation Army(PLA)—Vice Minister Gu Junshan was sacked.

On the 5th day of the Chinese New Year,

there came exposure of sensational news.

The Vice Minister of the PLA’s General Logistics Department,

Gu Junshan, had been removed from his post.

Gu is now under CCP investigation for breaching disciplinary;

another high-level army official, sacked for corruption.

Gu Junshan had been minister of infrastructure department

at the CCP PLA’s General Logistics Department—

a unit responsible for constructing camps for the entire army

and for the acquisition and replacement of military land.

Holding such a post was considered as having real power

within the army.

Hong Kong’s Oriental Daily reported, Lieutenant General

Gu Junshan, earned huge profit from land transfers.

“Think tank" of General Liu Yuan, Zhang Musheng,

had previously disclosed the inside story.

The PLA lieutenant general was said to have sold Shanghai-

downtown military land for RMB 2,000 million per acre.

The land valuation suggested RMB 20 million per acre;

all profit above that figure fell into the general’s own pocket.

Zhang says Gu Junshan did the same deal

in over a dozen provinces across China.

Gu was said to always take a special plane when going out.

He disbanded the army’s demolition office, leaving his

three henchmen in charge of the demolition business.

Gu Junshan had personally given out 400 high-grade

buildings to senior army retirees as gifts, according to Zhang.

Former Beijing Air Force Logistics Colonel, Cai Xuewen,

reviews the phenomenon.

In today’s China, “money is all-powerful”,

plus power is over-concentrated.

All these breed corruption in the army,

making it difficult to control the troops.

Cai Xuewen: “The army’s power is quite concentrated.

Some specific official general gives the final say.

He has such power and can control the finance."

According to political commentator, Wu Fan, Gu Junshan’s

background lies in the CCP Central Military Commission.

Gu used bribery to build a political circle of powerful patrons.

For example, facing the General Logistics Dept’s opposition,

Gu was directly named as vice minister by

the Central Military Commission, which is very revealing.

Wu Fan: “The army officers bribed their boss with money and

beautiful women to gain protection and career promotion. Gu Junshan just took this path."

According to Sydney Morning Herald’s recent reports,

Liu Yuan had warned 600 army officers about corruption in his Chinese New Year speech.

Liu Yuan: “Corruption has grown so deep and widespread.

I’d rather risk losing my position than refrain from fighting corruption to the end."

It’s surprising that the first axe fell on a lieutenant general.

Senior commentator Lin Baohua gives his reasoning.

CCP princelings want to take over and gain achievements.

So some people must be sacrificed, says Lin.

Lin Baohua: “This reflects some conflicts within the military.

Moreover, princelings want to use this to win over the public."

Wu Fan says, CCP officials like Liu Yuan and Xi Jinping may

have realized the corruption will trigger the CCP’s collapse.

In order to secure the CCP and their personal power and positions,

they killed a chicken in front of a monkey to warn others.

Wu Fan: “Before its 18th congress, the unfolding and growth

of fierce struggle within the army aimed at power grabbing.

Whether Liu Yuan or Xi Jinping, their basic goal is

to protect the CCP and the army. “

Now, many princelings are worrying about the status quo.

On January 25, Hu Deping, the eldest son of Hu Yaobang,

warned the CCP top-level with his micro-blog posting:

“All our media are full of lies! Not even one honest word.

Full of bragging and eulogizing.

96% of our officials are corrupt and keeping mistresses.

We are indebted too much to the people! ….

When the people don’t pay heed to us, it’s all over for us!"

Su Ming (Former Peking University professor) :

“They got the answer from the revolutions in the Middle East and North Africa last year.

Carrying ill-gotten money,

the ruler escaped to some corner of the world.

But when the regime collapsed, all the rulers—

together with the money—were recaptured."

In Su Ming’s analysis, the CCP regime’s collapse

may occur at any time.

Some CCP officials wish to delay the regime’s end,

others are looking for a way out after CCP’s fall.

They are all merely lost in the hopes of preserving their lives,

or protecting some money.

Wu Fan cited real examples—Liu Shaoqi’s miserable death

and Xi Zhongxun being driven to insanity.

Both families made such big sacrifices for the CCP,

shouldn’t Liu and Xi still be unconscious with this?

Now officials at all-levels of the CCP are corrupt to the core,

and have emptied all state assets,

There is no way for anybody to secure the CCP.

Wu Fan says, eradicating the CCP is the only right way out.

Only this will gain real acceptance from the Chinese people.
