我代表市议会和卡尔加里市民，非常荣幸地欢迎和祝贺神韵艺术团今晚的演出。
神韵艺术团是世界上最知名的中国古典舞艺术团。100多名卓越的艺术家们将通过惊人的舞蹈、令人惊叹的服装、豪华的组合并伴随着现场乐队奏出的融合了东西方的壮观的音乐，讲述一个跨越5000多年历史的传奇故事。
所有为今晚演出付出幸苦的人都应该得到赞扬，他们为这台晚会的成功举办做了大量艰苦的准备工作。我还要感谢将神韵晚会带给我们卡尔加里人的卡尔加里法轮大法学会和阿尔伯塔省新唐人电视台。

A MESSAGE FROM MAYOR MENSIHI
On behalf of my City Council colleagues and the citizens of Calgary, it is my pleasure to welcome you to the Shen Yun Performing Arts gala this evening.
Shen Yun Performing Arts is the world’s most renowned Chinese classical dance company. Over 100 exceptional artists will tell a story that spans more than 5000 years through breathtaking choreography, stunning costumes, and lavish sets. This story is accompanied by a live orchestra that fuses the music of East and West resulting in a truly spectacular experience.
All of the participants in tonight’s performance should be commended for the hours of hard work it takes to prepare a show like this for the stage. I would also like to thank the Falun Dafa Association of Calgary and NTDTV Alberta for bring Shen Yun Performing Arts to Calgary for our citizens.
