【新唐人2011年3月21日讯】加拿大阿尔伯塔省官方反对党 – 自由党领袖、省议员大卫.斯旺博士（David Swann）发贺信祝贺神韵艺术团即将在阿尔伯塔省埃德蒙顿市和卡尔加里市演出，并赞赏神韵演出的主题给人类带来的贡献。

贺信内容：

我们是多么幸运，神韵艺术团再次光临艾尔伯塔省！

艾尔伯塔省拥有一个具有几十年历史的充满活力的华人社区﹔中国移民及他们的后裔默默地参与建设阿尔伯塔省。阿尔伯塔省的华人每天都在为我们的经济，政治，和文化作出贡献。所有的阿尔伯塔省人都对他们的贡献感到骄傲。

也许最耀眼的贡献是华人艺术家作出的。毫不奇怪！跨越五千年的中华文化，从许多世纪汲取的智慧和后天的创新孕育和激励着在阿尔伯塔省的中华文化。与此同出一辙，神韵演出优雅、流畅、激动人心、鼓舞人心，令人眼花缭乱。很高兴神韵艺术能在装修一新，比以前更美丽的银禧大剧院表演。

神韵本身的存在和她演出的主题，引起人们对人权这个重要问题的重视。这样做有助于保护世界各地人民的权利。

How fortunate we are to have Shen Yun Performance Arts return once again to Alberta.

Alberta has a vibrant Chinese community many decades old; Chinese immigrants and their descendants quite literally helped build this province. Every day, Alberta’s Chinese citizens contribute to our economy, politics and culture, and all Albertans take pride in those contributions.

Perhaps the most visible and flamboyant contributions are those made by those Chinese artists. And no wonder! Chinese culture spans five millennia, and all the acquired wisdom and innovation of those many centuries informs and invigorates Chinese culture in Alberta. The same is true of Shen Yun Performances. Elegant, flowing, exciting, inspiring, dazzling-Shen Yun is a delight, and it’s pleasure to have them perform at newly renovated Jubilee Auditorium, now more beautiful than ever.

It is important to note that Shen Yun’s very existence, as well as the themes of their shows, draws attention to important issues of human rights-and by doing so, helps protect the rights of people all over the world.

Culture breathes life into Alberta, and the world. Welcome Shen Yun performers, and to the Albertans gathered here tonight-enjoy the show!
