The spectacle and colorful variety of Queen Elizabeth’s life is put on display at a new exhibition at Buckingham Palace, which opens to the public this Tuesday.
本周二白金漢宮的新展覽，對一般民眾公開展出伊麗莎白女王多采多姿的生活場面。
“The Queen’s Year" exhibit centers around the Robe of State which will be opened for public display for the first time, and the uniforms of officials and attendants at the State Opening of Parliament.
”女王的一年”展覽中心在皇袍（地名）附近,，將是第一次對公眾展出，還有展示國會開會時官員及隨扈穿的制服。
It also features the wardrobe, tiaras, crowns and other royal objects used in the queen’s day-to-day activities.
此外也特別展出衣服、皇冠、王冠和其它女王日常活動用的王室用品。

“I mean I think it’s remarkable when you think back to last year, she undertook something like 355 separate engagements. Throughout the course of her reign, she’s made something like 300 foreign tours and visits. She’s invited something like, she’s invited – over a million people have attended garden parties here at Buckingham Palace during her reign. So I think the pace never seems to slow down and I think it’s extraordinary she’s such a hard-working woman,"

She added that the queen had a penchant for standing out from the crowd using a very simple but effective tool.

“We’ve seen over many years during her reign that color plays an important part of her wardrobe. And it’s certainly something that all royal courtiers that have been patronized by the queen have given special emphasis to because color enables her to be seen, spotted immediately. And of course when she makes her away days, when she’s on visits either at home or abroad, she needs to be visible because thousands of people turn out to see her and if she’s hidden away, wearing a color that’s not very easy to spot, then she won’t be seen and everyone will be disappointed."
“她在位期間，我們已觀察多年，顏色在她的服裝上起了很重要的作用。可以肯定的是，所有女皇參訪過的王室國家，她都有特別強調顏色，因為這會使她容易被看見，立即成為聚光點。當然，當她不在的時候，無論在國內還是國外，她需要很快被認出，因為上千的民眾是要看她，如果她隱藏起來，衣著顏色不顯眼，那麼民眾無法看到她，大家都會很失望。”
The exhibition features items from each of the four seasons and highlights activities from each, including the royal performance during autumn and Wimbledon in spring.
本次展覽展出四季中每一季的項目，強調每項活動，包括英國皇家秋季表演和春季的溫布敦網球賽。
The queen’s various hats, tiaras and many birthday cards are also on display, with her royal highness receiving around two or three hundred letters addressed to her every day. For her golden jubilee, the queen received 30,000 birthday cards.
女王各式各樣的帽子、頭飾和許多生日卡片也一併展出，還有每天寄給女王陛下約200到300封的信件。女王即位50週年時，她收到3萬張的生日卡片。
