律師發表免去建三江農墾法院庭長意見書
大陸人權律師王全章，12月29號發表致中共黑龍江「人大常委」的建議書，要求免去黑龍江建三江農墾法院王敬軍的庭長、審判員職務。王全章在建議書中表示，在建三江當局非法庭審四名法輪功學員的過程中，作為主審法官的王敬軍，對眾多辯護人提出的正當程序要求均不予理睬。並因王全章的手機振動，王關掉手機，而以違規使用電子設備、嚴重擾亂法庭秩序為由，取消王全章的辯護資格。
王全章認為，王敬軍作為一名法官，無視刑事訴訟法的一系列程序規定，不尊重被告人、辯護人的程序權利，並且無視庭審紀律的相關規定，濫用職權，非法剝奪律師的辯護資格，侵害了被告人和辯護人的權利，所以建議免去王敬軍的庭長和審判員的職務。
廣西征地建水電站引衝突
廣西桂平市政府要在南木鎮弩灘村京塘壩修建大籐峽水電站，25號大批全副武裝、手持警棍、盾牌的警察進村強行征地，與村民發生激烈衝突。警察向村民發射大量催淚彈，村民則以磚石、棍棒反擊。最終村民不敵，多人被打傷，十多人被抓捕。
江蘇懷孕訪民王府井放炮撒傳單
據大陸《權利運動》報導，28號下午，江蘇鎮江丹陽市開發區馬陵村孕婦馬玉珍，挺著7個月的大肚子，與13歲的兒子馬洪良一起，在王府井放炮、撒傳單，舉報村支書吳林剛侵佔集體土地建私人莊園，侵害她們母子作為村民的土地權利。
據說這是馬玉珍繼「十一」與一週前在天安門放炮後，第三次在北京用放炮、撒傳單的方式維權。目前母子倆已被帶到東城區中華門派出所。

Lawyer Wants to Dismiss Jiansanjiang Court Judge
Chinese human rights lawyer Wang Quanzhang published
a proposal to standing committee of Heilongjiang people’s
congress on Dec. 29.
He demanded the dismissal of Jiansanjiang Court Judge
Wang Jingjun.
He stated that during the illegal trial of four Falun Gong
practitioners, the judge, Wang Jingjun, completely ignored
numerous legal procedure requests by attorneys.
He also canceled attorney Wang Quanzhang’s defense
qualifications with the excuse that he disturbed court order
with his cellular phone on vibrate mode, turning off the cell,
and usage of electronics.
Attorney Wang Quanzhang criticized Wang Jingjun
as a judge for ignoring a series of procedures provided
in the provisions of the Criminal Procedure Law,
having no respect for the defendant’s and defending
attorney’s procedural rights,
disregarded the relevant provisions of trial discipline,
abuse of power,
illegally depriving defense lawyer of their license, violating
the rights of the defendant and the defending attorney.
Therefore, it is recommended that Wang Jingjun
should be dismissed of his President and judge duties.
Conflict Erupts Over Land Acquisition for Construction of Power Plant
Conflict erupted when Guiping City government dispatched
armed police to acquire land for the construction
of hydropower plant.
The police, armed with wooden batons and shields,
threw tear gas at the villagers.
Villagers fought back with bricks and sticks.
Consequently, many villagers were injured
and more than a dozen were arrested.
A Pregnant Jiangsu Woman Protests Against Occupation of Her Land by Local Officials
Human Rights Campaign in China reported that
on the afternoon of the 28th, a Jiangsu woman, Ma Yuzhen,
7-months pregnant, protested with her 13-year old son,
Ma Hongliang, against the local village party secretary
Wu Lingang for occupying collective land
for his own private estate and violating her land rights.
They distributed flyers and set off firecrackers
in Wangfujing, Beijing.
It is said that this is the third time Ma Yuzhen
and her son protested in Beijing.
Previously, they have also protested by setting off firecrackers
and distributing flyers in Tiananmen Square on Oct. 1
and last week, respectively.
The mother and the son were both taken
to the local police station in Beijing.
